teraurge is no longer abandoned i dont think, the dev came back recently with posts abt their stream on twitter, we may yet be getting an update lads!

You may want to read the last few pages of this thread if that's the only news you've seen, but I appreciate the spirit. The game was never really abandoned in the first place depending on how cynical you want to be.
You must forgive people for thinking this game is abandoned when the only thing MD has to show for 4 years of work is a picture of the UI.
Or the bunch of upcoming characters he shared not long ago? The traversal/map rework? The attribute rework? The combat rework? All of them with pictures and some with short videos?
again, "upcoming" characters means nothing when it's just concept art scribbles, he does those every week, how much will actually end up in the next version? Almost certainly less than 5%. The rest of that is, again, just UI screenshots.

they've been completely rebuilding the game on a better engine for quite some time. teraurge has never been truly abandoned

Actually, while it's true the ones done on streams are conceptual creatures, the upcoming ones that were recently posted are in V3 already if i recall. So no, they're not concept art scribbles at all.
Still pumped to see v3 some day. As long as there's still the xenofauna to experiment with and learn how to interact with, bonus points if that rumor of "Fuckable gun bugs" isn't a rumor. I'll wait till my body gives out to see that shit.

I absolutely love the old school type game vibes. and i really like that the animals aren't really that humanoid (at least not all) because i am so tired of just playing hgames with only humanoid creatures

, as it also has an installer for the now-deprecated engine that it runs on. V3, meanwhile, is an upcoming rebuild of the game for Unity, which (hopefully) should be the last time the game has to change engines.

Did a new stream art mega pack get created yet? I see the Patreon post that said it was going to be put together along with a new blog post, but alas nothing there yet. I'm not in the discord so I'm wondering if it got posted there maybe?

Nah, not yet at least, he told a week ago that he was "compiling a list of things he's revealed about v3 for the blogpost", but still hasn't done it yet, and neither an art mega pack.
