It's one guy doing this as a part time hobby around a full time work schedule. I think he makes progress at a completely reasonable pace given that. I'm happy to be patient for quality content I like.

If I'm not wrong doesn't this game have it's own .exe file? Can't you just run it from that? If that doesn't work for you here's a link to a portable flashplayer (from Adobe)

There is an Adobe AIR installer in the game version on the game's blog.
If almost 3 years is reasonable pace for one update then I wanna fucking die.
I pace the progress of my life on whether I've achieved major goals before Teraurge's next update or not.
At least we have talent people like Shadowheart328 doing mods to give fans more content to play. Honestly I'm surprised MD making over a 1000 dollars a month for a game he hasn't updated in over 2 years.
IIRC his Patreon isn't for the game but his art in general.
Plus this is one of the extremely few games that let you have sex with ferals and very inhumans.

Running the executable says you need Adobe Air. I tried using flash player projector, but after opening the file in the projector, the projector just closes. Running it in swffileplayer says you need to install to run the program. Is this avoidable in any way, or is flash player a must for this game?
Instead of using the direct download on this site follow the link to the blog and download it over there, that version comes with a patched in adobe air thing. Should work fine from that source without any othe rprograms.

Yes, it downloads without an installer so you have to manually add to path, which is annoying and didn't even work for me. I'm sure there's some better way to install it but it isn't pleasant to say the least.

I play "Strangeland" and this game have the same mod like this game also the arts like "thats so fucking creepy but in other hand curious" but as I said before I dont think this game will be ever finished.
The problem with this site is that 90% devs complain "I have no money need more money so I could full-time work on this game" and the others "I earn a lot money but I will slowly progress so I could milk more money out of my patrons"
And the others 8% who earn or not earn money do so fucking good work.
The 2% dont give a shit about money,progress and etc they just do It when they feel to do It like hobby.
I gusse this game belong to the 2% but thats why this game are not typical like others and not all will like It but those who used to this game for sure love this style and lore.
