This has to be one of the oddest threads on this entire site. Its one of the most niche subgenre of porn with a bunch of people in-fighting for 2 years over a game no one needs. The Patreon people got their moneys worth(LOTS of art) and everyone else did not financially contribute anything. Meandraco doing it off the strength at this point because clearly a lot of people are resentful of the delays. Which I get because that was me but now its like whatever. Wouldnt be surprised if it gets finished and something fucked happens.

Dev'ing requires a certain level of communication. This is not even flame its just the truth people like transparency. People also become entitled about things they desire. Actually MD ever communicating about the game was probably to the downfall of any discourse on this site. Because people expected the early attention brought to the project the entire thing. As if thats owed to us I really dont even care no mo to be real.
Side note if I am "disappointed" in anyone its myself being so invested and like the lack of mods/similar games. I aint a creative so I pass the buck but where the Teratophilia people at?

As I pointed out before, most of the people here support you and are very excited about the game. Just saying. We stuck around after years because we are still interested. Lets not focus on the 2 entitled assholes out of all of us yeah?

I have been following the progress via Twitter & StreamMEGAs and I love the map & it's fun to look at. Admittedly I am scratching at the glass to get a hand on playing it since the early builds, much like others. I wish you the best and your designs continue to be cool.

Please don't revive this old argument, it already took over the thread for way too long once lol. Basically: yes, we all know, it'll presumably get fixed if/when the new version comes out, and whoever has the ability to change it apparently isn't gonna do it now.

Damn, Meandraco could've made a fortune off his game if he worked on it full time. Just look at how much support he has whilst no game update in 3 years. If only these vocal supporters weren't entitled manchildren who've never spent a dime to make it happen. He has stated time and time again his reason for the slow development and nothing except having enough funds to make it full time will change that. So shut the fuck up and wait patiently like the rest of us or go make your own game (you won't).

It's a vicious circle. When I found the game years ago I would have funded it, but I held off to see how regularly it was updated. His slow update cycle and failure to keep promises of just staying in contact meant I wasn't going to pay him monthly for anything. So his funding stays low, the updates stay slow, and my interest remains at "wait and see".
Moral of the lesson here, if you promise something, fucking deliver, otherwise no-one is going to trust you with their money.
