Not sure what he was talking about, this things been using Adobe Air for a long time.
Hell the latest version of the game is using it already, likely drop flash support if I had to guess for the next one, if it ever comes out.
Where I am from we call this pocket watching but I do not know what part of the world where 1k USD a month isnt atleast livable wages. The cost of living is not that high especially in majority of Europe. Out your fucking mind but thats just lousy ass degree talking. But I have never finacially participated because artist as a whole are lackadaisical and doing most of what they do on a whim. If he wants to make some niche porn and stop cool. Keep up the art then. I'm in america and 1k isn't livable here. Also that's 1k before the fee's, taxes, and patron cut. (Which can easily add up to 12% from what I can find)
Where is even 12k annual USD even considered livable? Maybe UK since they have free housing and the like. (Note, 1k USD a month is still only half minimum wage there)

The average gross salary of the countries you listed is as follows;
Hungary = 1251
Poland = 1289
Slovakia = 1202
Croatia = 1297
Czech republic = 1508
PhD results in lower wage than a Master since you're limited to academia as well. With a PhD you tend to be classified as "overqualified" for most jobs (common problem with people that get bored of Academia). If your goal is a career, or money a PhD is never the best option in STEM fields and especially not in other fields like social sciences (good look getting a job outside of research with a philosophy, sociology etc PhD). The exception is if you have a PhD in pharmaceutical chemistry, where research outside of universities is plentiful (private pharma companies).

I live in Hungary. The "average gross" is not the NET income and it isn't even the Median Net Income. In Hungary if you get the exceptionally high 1251€ salary your NET will be ~820 €. But the reality is that the Median NET (50% gets more 50% gets less) was 627€ in the previous month. So average gross is 1251€ what you get if you are lucky is 627€. Which means half of the population gets less then ~620€ half gets more than ~620€.
In my opinion that means in my country MD's Patreon income (~850€) is more than 50% of the population lives on month-by-month. Which is a damn good Net Income and many would work its ass off to get a job like that.
And I know it is almost the same in the rest of the described countries. So I know it is hard to believe for a guy/girl living in USA, UK, or Germany but 1000$ is a lot of money for someone not living in 1st world country.
No Sir, I'm living in the reality and not in some politician's text book where everything is super-fine. Statistics made by politicians and reality is lived by the rest of the people.

And the same applies to MeanDraco's patreon money. There's still taxes, patreon fees, conversion fees, payment processor fees etc that is yet to be deducted. You can't look at MeanDracos gross income and then compare it with NET income. That's manipulating numbers, because one has had all fees deducted and the other hasn't. He probably earns around 400-500 of that 1000 at most if we're talking about Net income.
The only reason I used gross is because you did in your initial post when referring to MD's patreon. In reality, Gross and Net are both rather useless metrics and in any proper analysis you have to take buying power into account (PPP). A person earning 2000 in Monaco is gonna be poorer than someone earning 1000 in Budapest, because 2000 is not enough to cover expenses in Monaco, while it's enough in Budapest.

I am. Its not that hard, but also it depends from material of a wall. You spent more time digging a holes for basement than on actual construction works.
