VN Ren'Py Completed Terminus Reach: Sentinel [v1.0 official] [Talothral]

Being a huge fan of Sorcerer and having played it over a bunch of times, both Talothral and other players suggested that i gave Terminus Reach a go, which i had put off for a while as it didn't really catch my attention at first. To be fair, i did the same with Sorcerer at first, skipping past it for a long time, thinking "demons? magic? i usually don't like those elements in VN's" and ended up being in my top 3, if not my all time favorite. So, i finally tried Terminus Reach and while it didn't grab me the same way that Sorcerer did, i still enjoyed it more than most of the VN's i've tried and it has been added to my relatively short list of VN's worth replaying. So thank you, Talothral, for another enjoyable experience Looking forward to seeing where the sequel goes!

The compressed version hasn't been updated since it was made 2 years ago. The normal version is just 3.11 GB if I recall correctly and has pile of fixes and the walk-through mod integrated.

damn good game, was putout by the screenshots at first but decided to give it a go and pretty much binged the whole thing in couple of sessions
wouldn't call it porn VN, more of the just adult novel with occasional sex scenes, overall - given me really strong vibes of Babylon 5 whole time I've played it, which was unexpected but really nice feeling, good old days of classic sci-fi shows, without all these bullshit they stuff modern shows with

I started out with Sorcerer, and it was one of the few that I always looked forward to the next update of, I finally decided to give this one a go, and now I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to check it out, I was sucked into the story from the very beginning and after 5 hours I had force myself to stop just so I wouldn't finish it in one sitting, I'm looking forward to starting pt2 and filling the void Sorcerer left when you finished it up.

I finished Sorcerer a while back and decided to try this one. Damn! I really enjoyed this one also. Although I will say that I kept seeing Alexander Ward's face from the Sorcerer as the MC of this one. I can't wait to dive into TRS2.

This is bit funny actually. Only thing common with them is the skin and the beard, beyond that completely different morphs were used to create them. Skin is the same only because I had issues with the gen maps with the skin I selected for Alexander, so in the end switched to something I knew would work easily. Although I admit that they do have similar facial structure over all but it wasn't intentional.

Too much baldness. Really loved Sorcerer but I just can't find the hook that makes me want to keep playing it, evven after aboutthree hours. Hell, buzz cuts would have been preferable to no hair at all. I look forward to your future projects but this one will have to be a pass for me.

I loved Sorcerer, and have been wanting to try Terminus Reach since I saw it had a sequel, but I'm just not a fan of kinetic novels. I like interaction. So I avoided this one.

But from reading the thread and seeing the link to a walkthrough, it seems this is not a kinetic novel? Why does it have the tag then? That is what kept me away from this game, cause I saw the tag and it turned me away. But if it has choices, then it's not kinetic.

So I'm rather confused lol.

MC is a killer who can either mame, kill or just incapacitate momentarily his targets.
Should he not kill them,
MC sometimes gets to interact with them in the future.
Those are the choices with consequences.

So I'm rather confused lol

This VN would also, on occasion, let MC choose who to talk to about this or that,
so that possibility of a path is a meaningful choice as the other path not taken is not shown.

OK, I just finished this game after playing straight thru. I got so involved in the story that I lost interest in the H-scenes and was just interested in the story line. Great story telling. Don't get me wrong, the H-scenes were good but it was the story that held me captive. Thank you Talothral for the hours of enjoyment. Now off to do Sentinal 2.
