Translations are a problem, no matter how "good" they are; Spanish is (very) complex. One thing is (or are) these sentences that you can somehow translate into something understandable.i just can't even with this one. it might have a good storyline here, but i'll probably never find out. for the love of god, find a better translator! it was so horrible it felt like my mind was going numb.
No problem! This VN was the first one I made, it has many problems, even in the gameplay; as well as many innovations (even secret characters) in the point and click; there are times that they offer to translate or correct the translation; but since it's free, they do it just because they like the VN, they don't last long (it's hard work and very boring!).glad you knew i meant no insult towards you personally as you can't exactly interpret tone being written. thanks for the explanation.
Divi Dead is a great influence!Translation is actually OK. Some issues, mostly with idioms ("Whore who bore me!" - why would you say this about your mother? Do Spanish people really say things like this?), but I managed to get the gist of it.
But each time Eli or Abril started to talk about history, I was feeling either I'm tripping or they are or somebody is. Or all of this is just some crazy mess of mistranslation.
But eventually I figured out translation is fine. It's just not the modern Spain but some fantasy/occult/cyberpunk setting which looks on surface like a modern Spain. Which is kinda cool. But it burns your brain for a bit.
But it's a nice game overall. Got a huge Divi Dead vibe, which is a plus in my book.
But Elizabeth's quest is bugged out
Actually, is it possible to buy the game? It's not on dev's Itch.
By the way, this VN is also in "Argentinian"; the Spanish is even difficult for some Central Americans and Spaniards, in the other VNs; although the verbs are still the ones we use here; I made it a little more neutral to facilitate the translation as well.Translation is actually OK. Really hope you will return to this project. Game could use a bit of polish and rework probably, but it has a huge potential. Atmosphere, characters - all greatly done. I'm really such a sucker for this kind of stories.Divi Dead is a great influence!
This was my first Visual Novel; it's amazing, so I recently got nostalgic and I'm looking to make a remake (Reborn as I call it for Love MorteM).
I deleted it, like other projects.

I will check your other games for now.
The story was going to be much bigger; but I ended it in that part, to give it a closure, this was my first VN.It's tagged as completed but parts say they will continue in the next update, can someone explain?
I'm just in the idea of making a remake, or rather a spiritual successor of this VN.I like
I started with Irreverent Heresy. I prefer it's structure over TESS but appreciate the work that has gone into this game. Currently, I am stuck gaining stress without a way to decrease it (no money and too stressed to work). I look forward to the refinements of the later games coming to the remake of this game. The world building (factions, location, and history) is excellent. Keep up the great work.I don't know if anyone else is interested, but I started with the TESS Remake or reimagining.
Okay, I addressed the stress (bath and watching tv twice helps). I will continue to learn the game systems. Now, it is time to figure out how to work at the Institute...the receptionist is always busy.I started with Irreverent Heresy. From a translation perspective it seems like his and her are sometimes mistranslated which is understandable coming from spanish (su - ambiguous gender).
Like the mix of trans content and supernatural. You have a really unique voice in this space.
Thanks, this is my first VN, a lot of experience, the translation must be one of the worst!Okay, I addressed the stress (bath and watching tv twice helps). I will continue to learn the game systems. Now, it is time to figure out how to work at the Institute...the receptionist is always busy.
I understand your point. Given the level of support, I wouldn't tolerate much hate either. I like the vision behind your stories and your approach to the genre. I agree with motivation. It took me a bit to figure out the systems of TESS. Once I did, I was able to enjoy the story and scenes. I could not get into the MorteM games but will try later. Everything from IH forward has been excellent and the art has improved without losing it's personality. Thanks, this is my first VN, a lot of experience, the translation must be one of the worst!
The stress and stuff before was more complicated if you didn't go to the April department, I think I solved it later.
I remember something about the reception, maybe some quest is missing, but it was years ago.
I have in mind to remake TESS, although it seems that there are people interested in general in msi VN, I get less and less support and downloads, which is a bit ironic.
For something like TESS, you have to be very motivated, now I'm with the sequel to IH, which went very unnoticed; but the good thing about it is that Hate is too.

If you ever decide to branch into pure writing (novels or novellas), you have built an interesting universe in your games that deserve expansion. Be encouraged, you are talented.
