Short answer is Yes.
After I wrap up this series of games with A Citadel Black. I plan to create a longer story. I'm in the process of learning Godot as well. Though I will likely continue with Renpy for a while. As of now, my thoughts are creating a longer story with slower progression.

Do you need to play the other games within the Series for this to make sense or does it work as a stand-alone?
Do you have to play these in order? I played the first one not sure if I like it. Is there one that's the "best"?

The main post needs to be updated to include a list of all the games in the series so that people know that it is part of a series and not a standalone game.

The downloads do work. These were shared on free sites. Those free sites attempt to have you download adware. This is not the fault of the uploader. Example to make the links work: click on

it pulls up a download box. When you click the download box the 'host' tries to get you to install stuff (adware and the like), keep closing un-needed pop-ups/tabs and continue clicking the original download box. It may take 4 or 5 times, but eventually you will get an option to download the correct file.Match the file you are downloading with the one you want to download to ensure you are only downloading the correct file ie KonkIsland-0.7-Final-pc.zip. This is SOP for downloading things for free. If you want to make sure you get the correct file and not adware and don't trust the process or can't figure it out then pay for it instead:

not sure whats going on, but the android links just provide game files, not an actual apk to install despite saying .apk

I cannot download the game. Mega link is dead, Anonfile keeps failing, and the other two links just gives me isos.
