Hi, is there a way to add own videos to cards which had not yet got videos in the /img/sidebar folder?

I've saved them as .mp4 (under /img/sidebar) and named them according to the naming convention "<Card-Number><a-j>.mp4". I found the segment in the code, where you have to specify the number of gifs for the specific card ("gifType") and set it to 1. The loading of the card is done in the switch-case where you check the number of gifs to choose from and set the ending accordingly.
But when I try to test it in the Sandbox mode it doesn't show the Video or the thoughts I wrote to test, what am I missing?

Right now I only added one mp4 and named it "437a.mp4". Then I set the gifType to 1. And filled the thoughts to test if they get shown (but they are not shown).

Also is there a specific IDE you are using, as right now I am using VS-Code...

PS: Only selfmod, because I really enjoy the game and would like to have gifs/videos for every card

If there is only 1 card, you must not add the 'a' to the name. it should just be 437.mp4. Also, you can't have more than 10 for some reasons...

And there is a bug that do not shows quote for some cards and the placeholder ones for the modding. So don't waste time on this.

It's just a very un-modfriendly engine. Most of them are image mods because you can't really add gameplay ones in a way that won't conflict with future update/s.

Can you help me remove the cheat code, I don't know much about this and I want to pass the game from 0.

There are cheat codes for locking unlocked content. Just read the list of cheat codes again.

is out of early access and fully released! If you like this game for the mechanics check out that one because their pretty much identical, with way better art and interface too. (No porn though, but it does have a cool 50's horror comics aesthetic). Buying that game is basically the one thing you can do that supports me the most so I would appreciate it a lot.

Congrats! I was so tempted to comment on the "whatever this game ends up being called!" bit under a picture of Naked Ambition… Probably not a good idea to associate the Steam page with this forum, though, if you plan to de-pornify the Steam release.

By the way, if you want to apply for getting the Steam Deck Verified status you would need to:
1) Enlarge the text. Especially those boxes when you hover over a button are barely readable. Honestly, much of the text could do with being 1.5x to 2x as big, especially with all the unused empty space around most.
2) Bind the hotkeys to Steam Buttons. (Setting a default Steam Layout works, I believe.) Not sure how difficult that is on your end, but for me it was ~5 minutes for a quick-and-dirty layout.

For reference, I’ve bound the A, Escape, Tab, and Space Bar keys to A, B, X, Y and the potion slots (plus an empty slot) to a touch menu on the left trackpad. That was enough to play a round comfortably. Right trackpad is mouse, right trigger left mouse click.

Adding the "toggle magnifier" function to the left bumper took care of the small text for me.

Now I just need to add TF Card Battle as a non-Steam game and copy the key bindings… not sure if that is possible without adding a browser and opening the game there, which would require switching my browser layout to a game layout… probably not a good idea anyway.

Always a pleasure to see TF card battle getting updates after all this time. I'm truly amazed by how dedicated you are and how you manage to work on many games while still being able to complete them.

I have noticed more in a previous version (1.2 was the last I played) so I'm gonna check if they were fixed since then before posting.
Also I've made some changes to the UI for my own use, but here it is if you're interested. It centers the gifs and removes the blank space when there isn't a gif to play.

I notice the new school girl card "orgy club" isn't applying its benefit against bosses (you still lose the health though, you just don't gain the ressources)
it work just fine against normal ennemies
and if I may add, this is a very strong card ! 5 intelect isn't cheap but it's still affordable and losing only 4 health to get this much ressources ? that's a bit broken

Bug: On the post-game upgrade screen, party girl's class counter is NaN, and there's two party girl icons in the upgrade shop.


Could you change the Auto play simple cards button to a toggle that auto plays those cards after drawing cards? I dunno how many thousands of clicks I've used playing Date Nights and Mysterious Pills between Creampies and Swallows.

People have explicitly mentioned TF Card Battle in the Monster Within reviews, it's kind of unavoidable haha. Leveraging my existing base is the only way I can sell a reasonable amount of copies of these SFW versions. I didn't even think about making it work on the Steam Deck, that's a good idea. I definitely can change the text size and stuff to make it work on that.

As it says in the changelog, the new content is additional card packs for Hucow and Schoolgirl. You need to play as those transformations to use the new content, which take the form of new theme packs you can swap in.

Yeah, I always end up forgetting that cards that have effects based on how much of X you have don't work against bosses since with bosses the code is different. Like, every time lol.
The thing about Orgy Club is that it's very strong, but only if you can already make lots of a specific resource on one turn. And Schoolgirl needs to stay in certain health ranges more then other transformations. Using it twice and getting 8 more TF can completely bump you out of the range of the brain cards you want to buy.

I must say, I don't fap anymore to this game but play it seriously xD It is nice.

Is there any good tutorial or guide for the game, the in game guide is pretty trash and seems outdated. I still don't really know what the slashed through symbols mean or what the symbols with the exclamation mark mean.

slash = don't buy cards with that depicted type or they change
exclamation = card changed because you bought a certain type of card

Hey I keep getting a glitch or error on any type of game mode where the right most card in the buy deck stays that card for the remainder of the round. The only time it changes and then sticks again is when other cards like heart cards come into play. But it's always the same card when I hit next turn. Any ideas?
