Here's the thing though, there's hardly any games that get huge followings after just a pilot release. Most developer's need to put out a few updates at least, and give the chance for people to find out about the game and developer commitment. Saying you'll abandon the game if you don't get enough interest is a good way to ensure that you won't get what you're looking for.Hopefully there will be updates, but it depends on new artists and Patreons. The point with releasing a pilot is to find out if there is enough interest to continue the project.
I have been working on the game for three years and written more than 50 days of gameplay. I don't think there is any reason to doubt my commitment. Without any artist to make the renders the project will stop itself. I will never abandon the game. Nobody will like more than me to see new updates to this game and I can wait 50 years for the next update if needed. The point is that since I can't make the renders myself then I need someone else to do it. I am grateful for the great work my artist have been doing for free the last 6 months, but I can't expect them to commit to a 20 year project for free. I don't even expect them to commit to 6 more months to make another update. Here's the thing though, there's hardly any games that get huge followings after just a pilot release. Other than the occasional mediocre game that gets popular quickly without actually earning it (cough cough Radiant), most games slowly grow patrons through good communication, consistent updates, good marketing...and Father-Daughter content! Change Audrey into a LI instead of a protagonist (most players don't like female protags) and this game may blow up
Ah yeah that makes sense about the artist. Hopefully he'll stick around a bit longer to see if the game can generate more interest. I suggest doing a bit more advertising in other forums, and posting sample renders in the Daz thread here, making signatures for people to use to spread the word. As I said though, games usually catch attention when it has certain types of characters and tags - I really think Audrey is your ticket to getting more interest. Just do defend fairies , i care about them <3>> 250 renders took 6 months to make
Wow, that's a level of commitment many don't have...spending six months to render a prototype?
I spent about 7 weeks on my first one (Magical Restart) and three weeks of that were animations alone...trouble is, people don't care about fairies flapping their wings all over (ha ha ha).
For reference, my current game Her Heart's Desire has over 700 renders in the 3rd update I released earlier in the week, and as of today, it's around 900 renders, and nearly 30 animations.
If you're going to produce on a schedule, I highly recommend learning the tools yourself...as it'll take you ~2 years, at the pace you're on, to do what I produced in less than a month for my new project.
Thanks for good advice and kind words! It takes patients and luck along with spreading the word about your game.
The more people that know about your product the more chances to get support.
To make people want to support the product has to be good and for people who make indie porn games that use a monthly funding platform like subscribstar it also helps if you have already finished a decent game so people know you are not someone who is going to just stop making games.
Some people have done that in the past.
Who needs a patient? You a doc? lol (sorry. I'm bored. Don't mind me humoring myself. haha)It takes patients and luck along with spreading the word about your game.
honestly i think the art looks good but sadly you added some problems that have a tendency to kill games. Thanks for good advice and kind words!
You are absolutely right. You need patients and luck and I guess I eventually ran out of luck. When I started this project, I had no expectation that it would turn into a game. I entertained myself by writing a story and I tried at the same time to learn some very basic programing in Renpy. I also did it to improve my English and never planned to publish it anywhere. However, after spending almost 2 years on the first season, I decided to publish it on F95 to see if anyone would enjoy my story. When I realized that some people enjoyed the story, I found the motivation to write another season. When that was ready to be published, I found some artist that was willing to help me create some pictures for a pilot. I must admit that I was hoping for some better responds since I really liked the artwork the artists had created, and the lack of picture was the main critic of the original story. My hope was that the pilot would lead to more artists wanting to take part in the project and help me develop the game, but nobody came and eventually I was tired of begging. After some suggestions in the chat, I did create a Subscribestar account and a Patreon account in hope to be able to hire a professional artist to do the artwork. Unfortunately, there was not enough people interested in the game. I still hope that an artist will come forward and offer his services but now it looks like the project has reached its end. I had my fun, learned some Renpy and my English is improving so I guess I can't complain
Agree on all points, especially 1 and 2honestly i think the art looks good but sadly you added some problems that have a tendency to kill games.
1.Multiple protaganists. most people dont wanna play as anyone else aside from the MC.
2. Daughter wont be a LI for the MC. if you add a female family member in a game. then most people are gonna wanna want the MC to have her as a love interest. i was convinced not to try this game for example, cause i didnt wanna see the daughter have sex with anyone other then MC. and when i saw she wasnt gonne be a Love interest for the MC. well i just couldnt see a reason to play the game.
3.I absolutely did not have any interest as playing as or seeing Victor's sex scene's. (one male MC is enough.)
4. not really a bad thing but i dont prefer to choose just one girl. i prefer harem games.
but yeah idk how choices work in this game. but if we cant prevent sex scenes we dont like. and cant go after girls we do like. then that's really gonna hurt your game.
at least thats my viewpoint. aside from that the art did look good though.
As long as you are happy. Thanks for good advice and kind words!

At the moment I don't have any artist working on the project so I can't guarantee that there will be any more updates. When can we expect next update?
Are you working on any other project? At the moment I don't have any artist working on the project so I can't guarantee that there will be any more updates.
The story line sounds interesting and I like the stepfather-daughter part, but just can't play a text only game. Have you tried learning Daz yourself?I am writing The Higher Society It's the story about how Angelina and her stepfather became members of THS. So far it's just a text-based game. This is something that I am mainly writing for my Patreons in hope of making some money that I can use on artist for this game.
