This is a multiple protagonist game. While you make few decisions for Anne, your decisions do affect her decisions.

But that's not really true. The husband can fuck around or not, but with two or three exceptions, those choices don't affect the game or the narrative at all. On the other hand, the choices for Anne are the entirety of the game and the narrative. A lot of them are presented as the husband making those choices for her, but a lot of them aren't. The player makes them, and sometimes the game makes them. The entire story is driven by what Anne does or doesn't do. The husband's extracurricular activities, with the sole exception of one encounter in Punta Cana, can't end the game or ruin their statistical relationship. Aside from that one choice, only Anne's activities matter.

The only problem I have with calling Anne the antagonist is that it adds a level of sophisticated writing that is not at all apparent in any piece of this work. The author simply does not have the writing chops to make that happen.

Going way back to college writing composition, there is a simple way to determine what role characters play. Just ask yourself, "will the story go on without this character?"

Exactly right. This game would be deprived of a fetish but still essentially the same if Anne was single. Ergo, the husband doesn't matter. Anne's the central character.

With that in mind, think of love interests. What separates a love interest from a protagonist is the answer to that question. Remove that character and see how that affects the plot. In this case, if we remove Anne, there is no plot. That means she is not a love interest. Not just another NPC. She is integral to the story. That makes her a protagonist unless she meets the requirements you described in your second clause.

A big problem on this forum is that pretty much everyone confuses "main characters" and "player characters". Especially in romance and porn stories it's the love interests that drive the plot. A lot of the time the player character is almost completely devoid of characterization and drive to allow for player choices. A faceless dude deciding between "have sex" and "don't have sex" doesn't really drive the plot forward, but people still insist on calling him the MC.

To be fair, most call him MC as a shorthand because, you know, we have the ability to change his name. We could call him "" or Charname if you prefer but MC or the husband works just as well. I think his default name is Tony, but I don't really care for it.

FINALLY....what I've been asking for for so long - a chance to have MC be more involved in all these adventures instead Anne of getting either DPd or analized every day while MC just plays around twice a week, if that. These changes make sense ONLY if she then goes back and cuts it off with Dad (if one is on that route). If Mircom doesn't institute that change, then she's just blowing smoke. We'll just have to wait and see if it's the real deal.

Yeah, remains to be seen if this was just to appease the masses but enjoying it while I can. Lol. Hopefully it lasts for a little while longer

I still think that this Chapter 14 holiday was originally supposed to become a fullthrottle chreating orgy
MC with Tamara and all the other girls which were introduced so deeply and Anne was supposed to cheat with other guys and get corrupted by Walker on one path as indicated at the last scene in previous version. And at the End of holiday they make then this important talk and confessions blablabla...then they fly back home and change their relationship to be always honest.
But i think Dev was in a hurry or too lazy to finish and implement it and so he put this confession stuff in the beginning of the holiday already so all the introduced girls like Tamara and the tatooed blonde become obsolete, two whole days sunbathing and watching Anne...and at the last day the orgy which was really good made. I am pretty sure that the origina plan for the holiday was somehow like that. Of course i enjoy also the added scenes with the Maid and the receptionist but after several playthroughs it just feels that something was cancelled...and why do we met the girl with her mom at the beach, why we met Tamara and the blonde tatooed girl..and all the other girls with names?

Accurate! I completely believe that the intention was to have the MC line them up and knock them down. But the developer decided that was too much work and replaced the hot sex scenes with boring as fuck dinner scenes. And I seriously would have loved to experience some of those scenes. Tamara! Hot as hell.

EDIT: It work now, when I download all files again. Would be nice to have some patch which will fix name issue, nevermind.

Not yet but if you have the last version then you should be able download the new one for PC, unpack as normal then move the folder's contents into the old version and overwrite when prompted.
