The devs 1st game, the other game, is the last day of college.
This game is the duration of college years, right now boys and gurls are just meeting eachother.

Had the same issue - delete the old gamefolder. And unzip fresh. It should work then.

Good update, until now everything is hella interesting and good, I saw the dev's message about how the game is supposed to develop in the future and I am a little concerned about that, I really hope they follow what they said about the romance and some "vanilla" stuff instead of some devs that only used this as an excuse and totally change the pace of the game to a fuck fest after some updates and time.

Everything apart, really good job, liked this game a lot until now, I'm very eager to see how the relationship with Sophia will go in the future updates, she is just perfect.

Greetings,

This is the writer of the SFW parts of 'The best days of our lives', here with some quick explanation for some of the early responses we have been receiving for 0.2.

1. About the first game 'Before You Go':

That game is NOT directly related to 'TBDoOL. What happened in BYG is not canon to the current game.

It was nothing more than a prototype made as a proof of concept.

Think of BYG as an alternate universe to this game.

BYG is a world where our MC (Ben) did not exist at all.

So, naturally, the ending of BYG too - is what would happen to the group if the MC never existed.

But in TBDoOL, since our MC is very much present, the character relationships will end up being lot more different here.

As of now, all five of them are just friends. Where you go from there is completely up to you.

Still, it seems that BYG being mentioned in the thread description is causing a lot of unnecessary confusion.

So, I'll ask Jachu (the artist and creator/owner of Underground Studio) if he's okay with removing it to avoid further misunderstanding in the future.

2. Regarding any doubts about the character interactions:

I can only give one explanation.

We're only at 0.2. As more updates come in,

- the characters will grow into more rounded ones.

- you'll also learn new things about the characters that will change how you perceive them.

3. Regarding the (usual) concerns about multiple male characters

As we have mentioned before in this thread, our aim as creators is to give our players a 'feel good' experience with TBDoOL.

So, you will NOT be forced into doing or seeing anything you don't like.

The male characters are here to be the MC's friends and classmates, not threats to his love life.

Fuck yeah an update. Will be trying it out tonight.

The more I see the devs interacting with the community the more I fall in love with this studio. Great fucking stuff.

Ah, it started promising but the choices are minimal, we have no impact on conversations, the girls have very similar body types, and it feels more kinetic with "which girl do you talk to first" choices than anything else. The renders are top notch but regardless of being able to rename the MC I don't feel like I have any impact on the story at all. Overall, just not my thing but I know I am picky.

Best of luck to the devs, hope you have great success with your projects.
