Well, this is really nice. It kinda reminds me of what really happened when I was a university student (more than 20 years ago - YIKES!!

Sometimes a little bit of realistic events and dialogues are more than welcome.
I guess these devs who are developing these WannabeBaDIK clones never set a foot in a university building in their whole life: thanks God this game is different.

Context!? What context? You referred to NOTHING in your post except some unnamed games by 'many Devs'. Which games? Were they by the same developer? I tried searching for 'many Devs' and 'another game', but couldn't seem to find the ones you were referring to.
I think them having that sequel game already made kinda ruined this whole experience for most people. It's hard to play a game like this when you already know who 2 of the LI's end up with and yeah they said that the old game has no meaning but its just jarring to go from one to the other and you can't really expect people to forget about it.

I think that the dev should stick to the prequel and build the story considering what happened and focusing on the ones who might "matter" for the MC, just like this latest update, which had a really great character development.

2. If you END a relationship with a character, some of them may get together with someone else. (But the breakup will not be anything strong or hate-driven, it will be a soft, mutually consented, friendly parting.)
I admit that those statements are similar.

As with any game where there are choices as to the fetish content we see, there will be development time devoted to things we don't care about. The choice for us becomes whether that undesirable content is enough to make downloading and playing a game not worth the time and effort. It's a dilemma I struggle with all the time. A lot of the time it depends on the quality of the game. I can put up with a lot that I don't watch if the writing is good enough. But there are many others that I have rejected because the effort is not worth my time.

It seems to me that such sex scenes between ex-LIs and other males might actually happen and be viewable in this game. However, if we have a choice not to see them, does it really matter? Personally, if I've ceased relationships with some girl on my terms, I don't really care what she does or with whom from then on, as long as it's not in front of me. That's in real life, not just in porn games. In this game, it will obviously be on 'our terms' since we will be making the choices.

I have to say, the renders look good, especially Nina(?) the redhead. However, I don't think this one's for me. I didn't like being pushed into anything with blondie. I chose to refuse her and yet still had to work with her and go on that pseudo date. So I am going to give this a pass, but wish the Dev good luck.
I'm also more partial to harem or throuple type games, while I do like a few single LI ones, they are more rare to me. So again, good luck.

Text-heavy alert. Just in case.
Generally speaking, this issue has been made quite clear both by the developers and by people's comments. And that is to be welcomed.
Still, for me it is impossible not to have "problems" with this. As I've said before, I have no problem with girls I choose not to romance having their romantic and sex lives. As long as, as you said, that I am not forced to see it. Even if all the characters are super nice and I like them, I'm only interested in watching the MC and his girl fuck (either the one he chooses or the ones he's flirting with) I want it to be noticeable who the protagonist is. As much as I like the other characters, I'm most interested in the life of the MC. Not the lives of the others. And here come my concerns.
Which brings me to the following situation. Being a dating sim game, I think ideally we should be allowed to be able to "flirt" with all the girls and not be forced to choose a girl very early in the game. Again, selfishly put, I want all the girls who are love interests to be available to the protagonist for a good amount of time. I wouldn't feel like if one or more of the girls says she has feelings for another guy (or girl) while I'm trying to pick her up and romance her. I'll give a quick example: Become a Rockstar. Until the last update, you could romance all the girls. Something like that is what I like. Of course not having a secret relationship with all of them. Being able to have them all available to the MC for a good amount of time so you can decide who will be the official girlfriend. I don't want to be forced to choose too soon. It would kill that part of dating sim.
Lastly, I say again that I am only interested in watching the MC fuck. I say that again because, knowing that the girls we don't choose can have their romantic and sex life, I hope that the screen time of the characters other than the MC will be exploited so we can or can't watch them fuck. I'm interested in their story, not in seeing them fuck if it's not with the MC. Nor that the situation of "Oh, I heard some strange moaning behind this door. I wonder what's in there?" is overexploited. Sure, we'll have the choice to watch or not. But the mere fact that we are presented with that situation is a tremendous killer boner for me.
I really appreciate having more and more dating sim romance. They are my favorite genres. I always say the same thing, but I hope no one takes my opinion in the wrong way. I know I only focus on "negative" things but for the most part, I love these games and am thrilled with them.

Devs have stated that you'll get to know and spend time with every LI before choosing a path, and that you'll be able to switch girlfriends throughout the college years. They've also said multiple times that while other LIs will move on with their lives and possibly date other men, the player will not be forced to watch any of their sexual encounters, and that the girlfriend will never display affection for other male NPCs while you're in a relationship with her.
At the end of the day it's all about what you as a player are willing to risk for the sake of a good time. If you think you absolutely cannot stand even the idea of other LIs having a love life independent of you IN THIS NON HAREM GAME, then this isn't the game for you, and that's totally fine. Just move on to the next thread, and don't pollute this one with your blind hatred towards the NTR tag that doesn't even exist here.
But if you are able to withstand their development off-screen, I would 100% recommend you keep your watch on this game - it's clear the devs are passionate about it, and the story so far is simply incredible. It's definitely worth stepping outside your comfort zone for.
At the end of the day it's all about what you as a player are willing to risk for the sake of a good time. MC is nowhere in the end for the two gurls who seem to be together
with some other 2 boys.
Those 2 gurls end up in that sequel with the 2 other boys in your group of so called friends.
MC is some kind of outcast in this 0.2 version of the game, sometime because gurls just play him,
like the gurl alone with him at night who tells him no intimacy, on top of being sent there by those
2 other gurls who are not gonna end up with MC come the end of college.
Then there is the brunette, who is not in their group of friends, she has a heart 2 heart with MC,
but still no intimacy, like nothing real but talk and smiles and puns.
When I say intimacy, I mean like having any modicum of common goals, common interests, common
anything. Still, those gurls just make a fool of MC who is some sort of lost puppy,
being stringed along by any gurl who wants to taunt/use him as a punching bag
for trying all sorts of innuendoes with no intimacy.
MC is right now harmless, he has no agency, gurls just get to walk all over him and
he just takes it.

...they're teenagers in college. They just met. Furthermore, devs gave a big ass disclaimer that choices in 0.2 would feel a bit off but would make sense for character development down the line.
