Also, I thought the CoreTech Tower bug was supposed to be fixed with v0.92 (a hotfix to make sure it appeared on the map). But it looks like madmate.games wasn't able to figure out the problem. Maybe he should know what xapican posted above. If you still have your old save, either cxx or xapican, providing that might help Madmate see the bug to try to fix it.
Not bad there isn't much sex yet, but the story is really good and looks like the choices you make do impact the story. This kind of reminds me of the Vampire Masquerade series except with sex and better graphics.
Very nice update, if a bit short. And I'd really love to see these updates a bit more often and see
how the story will unfold.
Edit: I've read the few lastest reviews and must agree with them. This game seems like a very big scale project which may seem good but also may raise fears that it will never get completed at this pace. It's being developed over two years but seems to be completed only at about 10% or less, with all these potential skills unusable at the moment. So I hope that the authors know what they are doing and aren't overdoing it
I'd like also to report a minor bug.
- go out of your apartment to the street
- use map at the bus stop to travel somewhere
- learn that you cannot travel there at the moment
- after that you return not to the bus stop but to your room
- try to use the phone at your room and you'll see the bus stop again for a moment
Yeah, the issue with location was actually on my radar for a very long time, and I actually have most of the backend solution for it already made, I didn't just implement it yet. One day....
for now it seems when gaining skill points its mostly an either or pick. so generally equaling them out it would mean you only get to pass the first 3 tiers of difficulty (no check, 20%, 40%) since medium would already require 60% (more than half) of the potential skill points obtainable until now in that category - presuming one can even out all skill points (getting all to ~50%). also when choosing between trust/ affection and skill points it will increase the difficulty in passing future tests in all neglected categories.
do note failing some skill checks increases maximum points in that category as well while not giving points while failing, further increasing the difficulty of future checks (lessons in spirituality) some dont (exploring julies apartment during shopping if following her and jason). the checks when exploring julies apartment generally are bit strange: attempting either check for street smart/prowess will increase max point pool for both categories - also both checks can be attempted so if trying either one should do both for now. maybe madmate.games could shed some light there?

is the following for meeting the boss intentional? points for emilia trust despite her not being around (presumably), no max point increase for emilia trust, max point increase for hanna trust above potential max gain during the answer to our nature as a vampire:
someone noted when biting jenny during lessons in spirituality the street smart check is not working correctly: passing the check will keep the cost at 200 not doing so will lower it to 150. i might add that when picking either option to pay in full or when haggling it will calculate the deduction either way later on which does break immersion a bit. i suggest to either close the full price option when passing the skill check to open up the haggle option or add a variable to have picked that which is checked later when calculating the money spent - dont know if either or both alternatives will be breaking the game again.
i might add that i thoroughly enjoy this game. incredible detail to worldbuilding and all in all really very well done. for me its ranking way up depending on the parameters used my favourite of all avns ive seen on here. please do keep up the good work and take all the time you need to assure the same quality throughout.
while i value choices i believe that some plot points have to be forced either due to keeping the scope of the game managable or your general vision and up until now their implementation seems somewhat natural to me. i hope some of the feedback regarding the last update wont be taken too much to heart. fortunately its not as harsh a reaction as ive seen in other threads. since usually it seems to me we bother with feedback if we disagree/ mention if something doesnt work and dont when its well done and working all swell, i do feel the need to tell you that you shouldnt let it get to you too much and stick to your vision and planned plot.
edit: since i was nitpicking about immersion and whatnot id ask for some clarification regarding both zoe and emilia retaining their names in the flashbacks. zoe shouldev needed to change her id and whatnot due to her young age did she just stick with her given name? emilia mightev kept her name considering all the issues one would have now regarding identity change wouldnt have come up in the 19th century. however while it is in use now i dont know how common the name was in bulgaria back then (presuming the flashback we saw was the
About skill cheks: Generally, the idea behind the skill checks is to not allow players to max out everything and chose the way they want to approach the subjects and stick with it, whether it's by focusing on several traits or playing a jack-of-all-trades.Still, even if trying for a specialist approach, you can still chose to branch out a bit with hardest difficulty being set at 80% of total points, which is an arbitrary number that can be tweaked.
That said, everything in the system is very easy to tweak by design, whether it's difficulty of challenges or the amount/type/frequency of points so balancing it out is a minor issue, as long as discrepancies are noticed. For example, a kind patreon pointed out that perception points can only be gained at the start of the game, something that I will rectify in the next patch.
As for the prowess/street-smart choice, I'm not 100% sure what the deal there is, but the idea behind that encounter was (and will eventually work that way as soon as I figure out some kinks) that it combines a linear part of it: Jason/Julie altercation and dynamic part - MC figuring out the way inside. There shouldn't be two available checks as once MC gets in he shouldn't roam around but beeline towards Julie's apartment.

Street-smart check with Jenny is fixed in v0.92. As for breaking immersion, if I understood you correctly, you get money deducted when you hand it over to Jenny. I disagree that's immersion breaking. At least to me it seems more immersive the way it's currently implemented, but I could be wrong.

About feedback: thank you for your kind words. I take any and all feedback, and I do believe that we all suffer from our own biases and expectations, and F95 crew, as amazing as they are, do have certain proclivities that I'm aware of so I understand (most of the times) where they are coming from and understand them. That said, this game is aiming at being something slightly different than what the most numerous F95 denizens are used to playing, but I hope that they will get used to it eventually, and maybe be considerate about all the bugs, glitches and oversights of its creator. Noooooooo. Finally unlocked those traits but cant test them out what a shame. I have been waiting for so long I only came back to the game now bc I though it would have gotten past a certain point. I'm so thrilled for more. Does smn know how long it takes for the dev to update his game? I love the game, honestly I'm not even here for the sex part lol (it's still is the cherry on top though). To everyone commenting about the infrequency of updates: the updates were really spread out this year. When I saw that .7 was in November my heart sunk a bit. ~10 months for ~7-8 months of content is pretty bad, but I'm hoping (with reason) that next updates will be rolling out faster.

exactly, that happend in ver 0.91 when I dL it and played from my last save. I'll try to reproduce and post a save of it as sugested, let's hope I can recover ver 0.91 I have 0.92 right now. I'll tag you if you don't mind when I do this

That Futa scene was a memory, If you engaged with her (bj) in the Violet lips club, she tells you that she is a shapeshifter (trait) , so If she apears that content would be optional , that is my guess, even if you reject ciara, in the club you would see that scene because it is the memory of that girl (Jenny, Jessy whatever)

used save made after reboot (where i didn't get "mommy" scene until did things on other order). i got to coretech after loaded save mentioned but it orig. it vanished after doing shavaun and emilia quests. i use wt-mod.
anyways nice update, no actual sex (not that it was expected), plenty of funnies and some bugs like when visited on doc there were text repeating once.

Thanks for the update. Just finished playing new update, it was nice.
I kinda like this game, however, a lack of main story and improperly organised quest sequence sometimes makes it difficult to be immersive.
Also, MC being the main vampire character has no goals in his Vamp life, he showed some promise before these quest systems were implemented. But now he's just doing things haphazardly. This again shows lack of main scenario.
Is there a main plot to discover himself telling a story or we'll only be running errands with side quest among humans and vamps? Hope you don't mind me asking. Thanks again for an update. Dev.
