Yeah i know how to do that I just don't know what the variables are named.
Open up one of your save games at and you can view all of the variables.

Update 1:

I noticed that the developer uses an event/player choice based system to track player stats/skills and relationship stats with other characters. The developer clears all stats/skills and then recalculates them constantly. This means that editing skills and stats with the console won't do anything for most tracked variables. You would have to add existing choices in the console instead (that raised stats/skills) or edit the .rpy code files directly. Since it is unknown what other players have already chosen (besides myself), it makes this difficult.

I'm not sure if this was intentional or not but it also acts as an anti-cheat system. I was going to create a console cheat code list but this throws a big wrench into it! Currently, there is not an easy way to cheat stats and skills. Making the best choices in the game of course will give you the best skill and stat results.

Update 2:

The game is still in early development and cheats don't help that much currently but I edited the game code to increase player stats and some relationship stats also. This will only work for version 0.32.

Copy the file to your 'TheBite-Revenant' folder - Right-click on the file - 7-Zip - Extract Here

It should work with existing save games and new games.

Nope, no errors here. Delete your old game folder, unpack the game, and start a new game.

These weird routines keep crashing my game:

Python:
$ stop_input()
scene doc_visit_220_221 with dissolve
$ renpy.sound.set_volume(1,0, "music")
$ renpy.sound.set_volume(1,0, "sound")
"Something-{w=2}{nw}"
play music "<from 42>audio/Music/tense1.mp3" fadein 10
stop sound
$ start_input()
Don't hack Renpy. Let the user decide to ffwd, skip, click etc. Vanilla Renpy never crashes.

Thank you for your efforts. I have requested that your cheat mod be added to the OP.

I really enjoyed this game up until the talk with the doctor. I mean so far it's barely a porn game, there was the one sex scene at the start which was well done and all, but it didn't do much for me because it was way too early and with a character I had no investment in, so I played this more just as an off-brand Bloodlines, but turning the supernatural into some scientifically explainable genetic mutation or whatever is one of the things in fiction I just can't stand. I guess it could still be salvaged by the doctor being shown to be wrong, but it didn't seem like that's where it's going, since you didn't even get a chance to disagree or express doubt. If you're going to rip off Vampire: The Masquerade, at least also rip off the mythology which is in no way copyrighted.

Lol dude in the end the dev can do whatever he wants, if he wanted vampirism to be a sexually transmitted disease in this game he'd have every right to do so, It's fiction after all whether it goes against vampire logic or not.. Just sit back and enjoy the game for what it is or move on to the next one.

I like how everyone always cites VtM for games like this and then comments about how it's somehow not true to the WoD setting. Can't a creator get inspired by certain aspects of an earlier work / game setting but modify some of it to be more how they would like for their own world?

Everyone used to think vampires died in sunlight, and then Twilight came out (as ridiculous as that trash is). Everyone thought garlic was a strong defense against vampires, and then True Blood came along. Bram Stoker had Dracula as the father of all vampires, and then Vampire – The Masquerade came out. The vast majority of vampire works today are based on earlier mythologies, modified to varying degrees to fit their creators' visions for their works.

Well, if you played VtmB you should know about the laboratory level. VTM lore is not 100% writing in stone to give players the option to roleplay their own way. In example not all vampires believe that Cain was the first vampire and the father of all bloodlines. It's more like a legend than a fact.
So far in Revenant nothing the doctor said is anything but guesswork without evidence.

Yes, "dude," obviously the dev can "do whatever he wants." And people can express whether they like what he's doing or not. This is a game discussion thread, it isn't just there for superfans of the game to sit around and jerk each other off about how great the game is. If you can't handle seeing even mild criticism of a game maybe you should stop reading forum threads and just stick to consuming the product.

I have no problem with people deviating from the WoD setting or making a vampire game that barely has any resemblance to it. I just don't enjoy supernatural stories that turn into "actually, it's just a virus/genetic mutation/whatever." It's just personal preference. I also don't enjoy zombie settings that get too specific/scientific about what zombies are.

The way it was presented to the player felt pretty authoritative to me, but I hope I'm wrong.

Stating your personal preferences is not the same as criticism.
So you're more into high fantasy. That's good to know, I guess, but what is anybody supposed to do with that knowledge? What's there even to discuss?

Criticism is typically expressed in a way that at least tries to be objective: "This part in the story is poorly explained." "The MC is hard to relate to without much personality" "The UI feels unintuitive and hard to navigate."

"I don't like this part" without adding anything else isn't really criticism, it's whining in your completely and utterly subjective opinion. You aren't offering anything to discuss. Like you said, the thread is about discussing the game, not your personal tastes lol.

We are living in a virus experiment .. delta, oh, mi cron, the strain coupled with helix and
a lot of underworld to give some panache.
The infection story is also the virus explanation in underworld, where the ”father” of all
vampires is one asimptomatic dude who survived the plague and is now immortal,
no superpower what so ever but immortal and immune to vampiric infection.

Affliction is the way the vampire virus works in twilight also.
Go watch what happends to kris stewart after rob turns her,
which is to save her life, exactly what marius did to lestat, or brad pit/tom cruise did to
kris dunst - they put their affliction into the people they cared about,
and then they let them work through the disease to see if they would survive.

These movies are stories where there is always the unknown element of surprise
about surviving a disease, a viral infection that kills your body and reanimates you after.

You can have countless spinoffs based on day to day news of infection,
let your mind run free and hlep yourself to whatever lore you are fond of.

Gaming should be fun, engaging, informational and intuitive.

Game oN!
