l haven't played ep 2 yet but wanted to ask beforehand if there is an option to refuse Carla and not have sex with her at all. I just want to tell her that Paul is still cheating and afterwards wash my hands of whole thing, so I can focus on the harem aspect of the game.

Ep 2 goes back in time to explain how Carla got pregnant, so we don't know if the mc will refuse her or not yet.
The story progress sure is slow, but other than that it's pretty promising. I look forward to episode 5 or 6 and give it another chance then.

Very good start thus far, the episodes seem a bit short, but the quality does make up for it. Great to see someone filling in the harem/pregnancy niche with a 3dcg game, not many games which fit the criteria. And definitely not many of quality as high as this.

Well, I need the girls to be treated like sluts, so whether the mc becomes a asshole or someone else does. It will be better if it was optional though.
Unfortunately like the guy said earlier, focusing on optional content just makes the progress even more delayed so the content that will be pushed out first will just have to be voted by the patreon's wallet.
Better would be if the dev would have a development plan, where he got a red line for his story and content. But looking at the overview and the game content until now, he has nothing at hand but a mere idea. Otherwise there wouldn't be the shit show in here. Suggestings from his community, patreon or f95, would just slow down the progress altogether. And looking at the pace he is working, judged by the content of the first 2 releases, I expect a decent amount of content in Jan 2023.

As someone who is very much into Breeding, Pregnancy and (I hope) lactation, I have some high hopes here. The setup is... unusual, for our MC so far. But I don't find it offputting, and it could have some legs. I like that the MC has some emotional baggage but isn't a submissive punching bag (in my playthrough). And the women of the town seem assertive in getting down without being dominant. The short timeframe of the build (1 year) means I don't know how much time we'll spend with pregnant women from the town. If the story will likely end after the build, we may get a coda where most of our choice of Harem is pregnant. I hope we have more time to actually play and enjoy that part, rather than tacking it on at the end as a 'happy ending'.

For those decrying the NTR, the Harem route, at least, has Carla's baby be yours, and she's in a sexless relationship with Paul.

Yeah its an NTR focused game with a tacked on half-assed "Harem" route that makes no sense. Just look at the sad excuse she gives for staying with that POS Paul... its so dumb...
