Well, that ending came all of the sudden. Finally got to trying out this game, and seems interesting.

I just tried this and...well I didn't like it. I played it for a total of 5 minutes. In those five minutes, there was a ton of typos, misplaced names (twice), and the scenes are...kinda difficult to describe. I can't speak of the story or anything, cus I can say I really didn't give it a chance. The renders are beautiful, but something needs to be done with a way to transition or something...like...you have the roommate go from door, to suddenly supporting you, the landlady is suddenly open bath robe sprawled out on floor, MC's first thought is "nice view" in this situation, and then more fast switching to CGs. I honestly am not even sure how to describe how to fix it, especially since I normally wouldn't say that its wrong, but for whatever reason is very jarring here.
I am just one of those people that gets really hung up on typos and such, and there was a lot (mostly have to add "s" to your plurals). I'll try looking at this again in the future, hopefully a proofreader or someone going over the story can help clean it up a bit. As for the jarring CGs...I dunno. It just snaps to completely different positions compared to what you've previously processed with no real transition to it. Rather than action, its like seeing everyone teleport into various positions, or watching a story while flipping through photographs.

So they half-assed on the allowing you to rename "Steve" during the prologue. All the dialogue in chapter 1 and 2 are still hard-coded to "Steve" and not what you pick. It's only in the prologue and chapter 3 that it works.
I whipped this up to fix that. Works in my 5 minutes of testing, let me know if it doesn't. Just drop it into the game folder.
Edit: I forgot there is also a small UI change I added because it was bugging me. I moved the quick bar to the small grey box in the dialogue area rather than the bottom of the screen. It also hides when in a choice.

Barely any content again... i don't see how ppl can even judge this game yet we already see low content, long time in between the low content. Seems i could be able to pre-judge this as a milking supporters game so far, slow burn, abandoned in the future. Thats how things have been going with these devs. If this were actually a book it would be the first few pages and not chapters, guess this one goes to chapter 100. - sarcasm

The women look visually pleasing and the story details seem interesting enough for me to want to try so I'm going for it. It's my first time playinh and i don't know how far the original game was prior to this but I'm looking forward to trying this out.
