Not to put words in Hopes mouth, but my inperpitation of it is that Luna will only get physical with other characters i you the player wants her to.

thank God because I was terrified that when Luna is off-screen and I'm on a Mission she and that girl are getting physical behind my back

since I have not cheated on luna since I started playing this game

I have even rejected the girls I meet on missions I don't care if I lose out on special items I will not cheat on luna

Optional means it's an option. You get to choose.
If you want to have fun with one/all of the others, choose the option to proceed with them.
If you want to be faithful to one of the girls, choose the faithful option & do not proceed with the other(s).
Player's choice.

I wouldn't really classify DeLuca as a porn game though.
I see porn game category being a small subset of Adult games (since the term "Adult game" is a large umbrella term), yet not all Adult games are porn games (examples are games like DeLuca, Summers Gone, Rebirth, and couple others out there).

I try not to call games like these "porn games", even games that have lot's of sex but really good story's because I find it rude/disrespectful to label them as such.

Take Harem Hotel for example, even though the game has a shit-ton of sex scenes, the story and character's are well thought out, so I don't think it's be right to call it a porn game. When I think of porn game I think of something that's only there for a quick fap n go, not a game that has an actual story behind it.

Summers Gone is so so good, one of the few games that has me gripped by the story more than anything else. Sadly the dev is working on two games at once so it's like half a year per chapter which is painful

I couldn't get into it. I did like Ocean's other game though(Where It All Began), so I might give it another go when I have time.
