That's not necessarily confirmed though.
Given Hopes' recent dev post, he seemed pretty darn motivated to try to get the season finale out before New Years.
I mean, I'm not saying he definitely will, but given his determination, wouldn't rule it out either (and personally, hope that he succeeds).

Me too. I just found this game a month ago and I love it. I feel this is the best story of any of the games here. The writing is superb. Characters are amazing. And the mc is not a complete idiot. Love the game.
This game is sooo anime without the style not being Anime. But there is no doubt he was inspired by Anime

This game looks interesting, but I have a question (without spoilers, please!). How is the main male (player) character? Is he bland and kind of meek/eager to please, or is he more assertive and confident? And do the females also have interesting personalities? Thanks!

He is bland and kind of meek, but that is entirely intentional on his part; dude has layers he's trying to hide for his own reasons that we don't know yet.

Dang - I was hoping he'd be more assertive and confident in general (just not to the point of undue arrogance). I guess I'll wait and check back in a few updates to see if he's revealed those layers yet or is still meek. lol. Thank you for answering though!

You want assertive? Go play leap of faith, city of broken dreamers, retrieving the past, oath of loyalty, banshee town, life happened, killer project.
city of broken dreamers, retrieving the past have alpha leader hero type MC you will enjoy.
oath of loyalty, banshee town, life happened have mob actual henchmen/bosses/killers
who drive the story forward,
not answering to the whims of other characters.
killer project has a retired actual mafia hitman - play that
and you will see where you should be at in terms of skill and cunning to join the serpents!
This game covers the younger years like bronx tale ....
Those other games are black hawk down or goodfellas.

Well, he's still a mere soldato, a very very low rank in the Family, so he's definitely not in a position to be acting assertive and confident from the beginning (and he acts like he does for his own survival, to be underestimated by others).Dang - I was hoping he'd be more assertive and confident in general (just not to the point of undue arrogance). But he sometimes does have his moments where he shows a bit of confidence and his pride as a man.
And girls, well...... their personalities are wonderful. Can't say more than that about them without talking about spoilers.
MC due to the reasons above, acts like a coward now, but the Dev, HopesGaming has said that time will come in the future where he will undergo a change.
Can't say how you would feel about that, but unless MC's personality is your only determinant for your pick in games, I'd highly recommend playing. Cause the game is well worth it.

As for this game, mc can't afford to be assertive in his current circumstances.
game is only in version 0.07.2 and still in alpha and there's 1067 pages... ? the hell ! it's a game of throne saga or the game is nearly abandonned ??

Version number doesn't mean squat for a lot of games in this site (there are some that do, but for several, they are not relevant).
For example, a game which was v0.35 may jump to v0.89 in the following update.
In fact for this game, upcoming update will mark the end of Season 1 (and game has had a lot of content until now).
The page numbers, it just comes to show people like discussing about this game a lot.
As to "abandoned?" Well, ask yourself this. Does the game look abandoned?
