Any pronoun needs something to refer to somebody/a group of people by definition, that is why it is a pronoun. "He is hungry" is useless if you don't know who "he" is. Same with "we". There is no "I and some others" unless you specify it. If you use it without context it falls back to default which here is everybody who could be in it, i. e. all.

I am gonna stop you right there because it has been said multiple times that it isn't. It is an adult game. Which means it contains porn but it isn't about porn as the main driving factor.

In my opinion (if that wasn't clear enough), and I can express my opinion as can anyone else in this DISCUSSION thread: the wheels are coming off and this story is racing into boredom and irrelevance because it doesn't reconcile fucking with story.

Firstly, this includes my opinion as well as yours, so I am just as much allowed to voice it as you are. Secondly, your opinion that the game is boring is perfectly fine, as already said, but you are judging the game on some metrics it does not want to meet. Sure, you can consider the music of Beyoncé boring because it is just generic pop without impact, and I would be with you all the way, however, she isn't going for the music we like, so we would only be allowed to judge actual quality aspects. We can say we consider it boring but it would be pointless because what we want is not what she is going for.

I can complain all I like and so can anybody else, nothing about that is moot because this is the exact place for that kind of dialogue. If you want to worship devs and not have reasonable discussions, Discord is the place for you, not this pirate forum.

Why is porn in a narrative focused game at all? Because why not? There is no reason to only have one or the other. And there is no reason, if you want to have one of them in it to go to any extreme.

And yes, the game is titillating, however not everybody has the same preferences as you and preferences in terms of speed of development (I mean of the stories, not of updates here) and wants for background on a character before going into action differ. I would guess even within the same person, depending on how much they get involved with the storyline and how they feel on a certain day.

And while I will not disagree with "pay-off for characters in the game is about having a narrative that makes sense of the sex scenes", I will disagree with the order of what you say - not every story is "narrative so the sex makes sense but we're here for the sex", there is "sex is a part of the narrative, since it comes to it". But yes, I do want those scenes to happen in the end. But stuff can be easily the conclusion to a story without it being the main focus.

As to "who apart from me is calling" and so forth: I will not claim to be able to speak for others but from this thread I very much gather that most of the regulars are happy with the way the story develops (if not with the release schedule). I mean, that's why they're regulars. Would JJJ84 ask as many questions about characters' backgrounds if he was only here for the fap? Would whichone take stances as he does? How about Abhai or Ayhsel or c3p0?

Of course they might disagree. Or even if they agree we might be the victims of group think. But there are enough people who chose this very game and follow it because they are happy with how it is done. And, to repeat a point, how it is intended to be done.

I've enjoyed the story elements of this game, that's not really the point I'm trying to make. I'm saying you can go too far in one direction to the extent that your plot becomes really fuzzy at the expense of bringing some satisfaction to your audience. That might be fine in the dev's opinion and that of his loyal donators, by all means - it's his story, but acting as though there isn't some merit to the idea that most people playing this game will lose interest is a clear indicator of bias.

This is actually wrong and in fact you are doing precisely what you accused Cartageno of doing: assume stuff. There is technically nothing to say Hopes is trying to satisfy his audience. If anything, and going by what he did in game, you have an scene criticizing this kind of behavior with Caenis.

Lol, I find it pretty funny every time people here defend the devs claiming it's a "story driven game, adult game doesn't mean sex, sex is not the main focus." And you are probably right. But there's a reason why most of the tags on this site are sexual in nature. If a game's on F95, it's automatically assumed to have primary focus on the sexual part. So please stop telling people here how sex is just a bonus part of the game, it's a good argument on discord, patreon or any other platform. Here, a game that's over 4 years old is expected to have a considerable amount of sexual content. I mean in dev's own word (from patreon) " The story is as much part of the game as the adult part". The Duke approves....The Duke eagerly awaits the final release of this game. The Duke loves the storyline but refuses to keep being blue-balled by the wait between updates. A good storyline such as this deserves many more but patients is a attribute one must master... Hehehe hue
