Its not strange since you are trying to use it on Android.
Whether you can or can't apply patches to Ren'Py games on Android depends how the game has been ported to Android and since all Android ports of DeLuca are unofficial and unsupported, you're out of luck.

Android is a consumer platform. If an app doesn't work or doesn't work the way you want, there's nothing you can do about it there.
Better get a PC. Ren'Py games work fine on 10-year old computers that happen to have a decent graphics card (not Intel).

yes technically you're right it is just a gameDamn these are sexy pixels but you gotta remember this shit is a game.
but you can't stop some people from getting attached to the story and characters
to you it is just a game and that is perfectly fine brother but to me I feel differently and that is perfectly alright as well

The guide in OP is very outdated.
The books feature have long been removed way back when v0.07 was released.
Instead, you can gain additional permanent stats from doing girls freeroam/lewd events, as well as gaining stats by equipping the right gear (each gear increase certain stat by some amount depending on what you choose MC to wear)

The same tactic for 5 years making a chapter like a dlc only a 5 minute update in the main story 8 months and 1 year this game goes until 2030 nice tactic really

This is the first season. There's still 2 more to go. The end of the main story is quite a ways off.
