I haven't done anything but simply pointed out the hypocrisy in the comment section, where regulars viciously attacking any casuals who see the update and comment a feeling of disappointment. Is it wrong to express true feelings about an overdue situation?

I wonder why the regulars need to feel so defensive and hostile all the time, to the point of "changing definitions" of what adult games should mean.

As has been said from the start, porn will not be a focus of this game. But your comparison to onlyfan models is actually astonishingly apt. They might be in it for some easy money and they might show some lewdness - however that does not give you the right to complain if they don't put a 20 inch dildo up their ass (unless they promised to do so). They can decide what they do and you can enjoy it or leave it be. You do not have any right to tell them what to do. actually i m not even sure what VN mode is.... i know i made nimble finger a looong time ago, and now if i go back, it says that i d better wait for a better moment to meet the "bikini girl" again, and as it is pre-req for mission, well, it s locked.
same goes for the market place it seems and in fact the 4 other objectives left once you walked the free roam and been introduced to the people.

feeling like i need to restart from scratch, just, well, now that i know how ends the season, it s kinda hard to see the whole story again, especially the really tough and heart breaking episode in the cages...

Hopes, you touched me with this story. it s kind of rare here, 99% of the games are just porn. the 1% gems that can be found, though, deserve the effort of looking for them, being patient, and...... no. no way i restart from scratch, really. i didnt play acting lessons a second time for the very same reason. got attached emotionnally i guess.

its a bug related to the gameplay
if you had chosen "full experience" you stuck and have to start over
oh , and dont use "full experience" for now

It's good to see you support new devs. That is always something that is respectable.
Season 1 is concluded, in which it has always been story before sex. Season 2 is where it gets ramped up and all the girls will have their sex. This is something that is known in the community.
It has been slow with how it has been going, that is true. Even the many regular members of the game has been vocal about. That is something that is in need of change and will for sure be once the game gets released on steam.

I label it as an adult game that is focused on the story. That is what I believe it is.

Oh, you might label it all you want. That's fine by me, after all everybody has their own understanding when pop turns rock or rock turns metal. What's just not correct is using your own understanding of what somebody does to try and get them to do something they never wanted to do with their understanding. If you think onlyfans is sex work (personally I see several steps inbetween), great. But that does not mean they need to do anything to somehow complete the picture.

The dev Hopes told from the beginning what this game would be about. If you call that a porn game, okay, your prerogative - I will still claim you're wrong, but whatever. However just because he started making a game which you classify as a porn game does not mean he does have to complete in any way what else you understand by that. As Hopes said he has an idea of what he wants to do, regardless of how you and I would put it into categories. Just because we may (or may not) feel the need to put a label onto something does not mean we have any reason to expect what we personally associate with that label from somebody else. Even less so if they already told us that certain things are not what their game is about.

As for the other stuff: my comment about the sky being blue was intended as a joke, but I do indeed doubt that "more than 50%" play it for the porn as such. As I said, it might have started out that way some day back in 2018 - but with everything that was said back then and since then, with everything in the game, most people who wanted a game like that just moved on because this is not gonna be the game - ever. People who still play it play it for what it is and enjoy it for what it is. I may be wrong in this assumption, but again whatever: Hopes has an idea of what he wants to do. We may disagree with that it is a good idea. But if he wants to roll with it we have no right whatsoever to tell him otherwise.
