Gotta remember he's only a part-time dev working on this alongside his day job and from my American PoV, 721 patrons isnt nearly enough to quit said day job.
On the other hand, he has definitely Cyber Punk'd the hell out of these release windows. December -> Jan -> Feb -> March (hopefully). I understand the frustration.
I would recommend not giving release windows as it always comes back to bite said developer in the ass and this applies to more than just VN devs.

I've seen so many people complain about how much it's taking for the update to arrive, not only on this game but others too, that I seriously wish a dev, any dev, would do this, just to troll the impatient ones:
Complainers: we want next update, now.
Dev: I just released one last month, I'm working hard on the next one.
C: we don't care, we want it now.
D: But, it's not ready yet.
C: now, damn it, now.
D: Alright, since you insist, I'll give you the next update.
C: Really? Well that wasn't so hard, was it?
D: Please mind that there's not much in it. Are you sure you want it now? Last chance.
C: Yes, yes, never mind that. Just give us update.

It's really just one guy? Wow, this is mind boggling. Now, I don't know what his day job is, but if it is not of a writer, he should consider a career change. I mean, I'm a single player guy, and the latest releases from the big industry, save a few exceptions, it's been subpar to say the least.If I know correctly the game comes from only one people, not handfull of people
These bugs reported several times since the last update, so we can assume they will be fixed in this update.

Most devs around here are single-guy "teams", i would say this is "wow" in that regard.
The game has quality, yet it has some serious flaws as well. One of those is mentioned more than few times - lack of sex.
There goes the talk, this is a story-driven game, erotic novel, and blahblah, yet without sex, it hardly is suitable game for this place/site. Moreover, considering prolonged delays among updates, its kinda worries me - a fair chance is that we will not see any actual scene in this game at all
There is almost a year without new update, and dev having this as a hobby only cant be a valid excuse imo.

Considering the current ratio of game updates, and overall developing of relations I would say there will be first rela sex scene, if we are lucky enough, no sooner than 2022. Ofc if the game is still in development. While i like some story as a background/setup i feel it is just wrong to have the story at first place, and sex if happens it happens.
And regarding developing time - we could speak anything we wanna that makes no difference - the only thing are updates. and this game has no updates for a year.

blowjob, handjob, boobjob and similar "jobs" shouldnt be called sex, at least not in the porn site.
there are few hot chicks, though no one particularly hot, so it is sad that we are forced to play it by reading all those narration, dialogues, perform various contracts/side jobs, we have, or have not any interest,...and at the end there is no reward, aka sex.
it is a long time in development already, and if the dev wanna to maintain, or even increase support, thats something he needs to work on much harder than atm he does.

In a story driven game like this it's much more natural when the sex scenes makes sense within the narrative!

I think HopesGaming mentioned that with the new rework of the contracts/mission the game would open up more to lewd content, of course not necessarily with any of the main girls. But lewd content nonetheless and from here on out with the rework and new content of which we already seen previews I expect things to go more rapidly after the upcoming release.
Actually I think it's 8 months and not a year without updates. Besides that, if you follow the development updates it is actively worked on. If the release schedule is not to your liking refrain from playing until it has the substance you are after. ( this isn't directed at you personally but for anyone in general ) besides it is stated clearly the project is a hobby.
F95 isn't a porn site, it's an adult site just because it doesn't include the porn you are interested in yet doesn't mean it doesn't belong here. Besides you make it sound like you don't enjoy playing this and that's ok maybe it isn't for you. But there are a lot of people who do (Me included) for exactly all the things you mentioned you feel like is a drag, the dialogue, backstory, slow build up etc. if it isn't your cup of (Cordia) I mean tea, that's fine..
