High-Res mod is version specific <- The file structures are different for each versions.
It also takes a huge while to port, so the original author will probably only update it once a major update drops.
Use in the mean time. That, or port the mod yourself like I did for 1.3.7.

Is there any established expected release date for this append version? Feel like I've been constantly hearing news about pending improvements for 2 years now.

try turn off the anti-virus.
try use a VPN.

Your first tip about renaming the file worked so thank you! I was having issues with it crashing once I installed the files each time the dialogue box came up.

Hello, before asking my question, yes i looked through the threads and installed it properly, and did my research first, either i cant find the answer or i dont know, but, do none of these plugins work anymore for the latest version of the game? If they do, is someone willing to try and help to see what ive done wrong? Any help would be nice thank you.

CinematicUnityExplorer is option. It is not necessary to install it.

Yes, i was following that tutorial, the only thing is that i just couldnt figure out how to open the console

I see, yes the dotnet folder did not appear for me, would you happen to be able to know which i have to download specifically then, i think this is where i maybe got confused
