It's definitely one of my few complaints as well.

I get why they bring up the choice after two weeks. The female start has a bunch of different stats and dialogue that the player would never get to see. and I doubt Samtail would want another variable to keep up with that would also require more content as the story continues, but just dumping everything related to the male start after two weeks is a bit extreme, imo.

i know she jokes about her and sammy being turbo lesbians at the house to the soccer guys, but that would be pretty neat if it were the case once you max her out

In regards to the male start stuff. I rarely get feedback on this sort of thing so it's hard for me to know how much of a push to make on something. The story is meant to be about Sammy and not the person she used to be before, who she was before is meant just to tailor your roleplaying a bit better, but eventually she becomes "Sammy" no matter what you pick. Seems though a lot of people think that happens a bit too quickly. Or is is the lack of comments related to it?

The way it works currently, is there is a tracker that counts every time you do something. Gain stats, pass a day, wear specific clothes, have sex. Once it reaches maximum, male start Sammy fully accepts her new body and life. Seems though it happens fairly consistently over 2 weeks almost as if on a timer. More feedback is appreciated.

Found a bug: you can't change the colors of the cropped hoodie.
The crop hoodie has been removed from the tops slot and moved to the coat slot. It's only showing for you because it's an older save, a new gave wont have it.

I think that in and of itself is part of the problem. In the long run the only thing that the male start does is make it easier to get the perpetual virgin perk, or whatever it's actually called. Male start Sammy makes it a little easier to avoid sex in the beginning, other than that there's not really any difference between the two starts after that 2 weeks, or however long it ends up taking is up.
I think my idea for a man at heart starter perk which would cause a down chance for sex checks with men and an up chance for sex checks with women is a good mid point between male start Sammy becoming Sammy while keeping some of her male origin. Maybe use it to have some comments about being a man persist after the starter period. On that note though I also kinda doubt that enough people playing this type of game would actually play that to really justify it, and beyond that there also isn't really enough lesbian content to support what would essentially be a lesbian perk at the moment.

Maybe you should remove it again, i just started a new game, cheated money and then bought everything that i could buy and found the cropped hoodie in jackets AND tops.

I think most people would be fine if there were a few more comments about it and if you could have the choice to keep them ongoing. A line or two of dialogue here and there in a few events if you want to go the extra mile. As you say, it's part of the roleplay in the game, and that's what people want to roleplay as. That's why "men at heart" or something similar sounds good. It allows the player to keep that roleplay going or switch to the other styles of Sammy from the female start.

Nothing extreme; we don't need an entire separate story if we choose the male start. Generally, it is just the fact that after the threshold for the choice is reached, it gets rid of the very reason people choose the male start in the first place, making it feel pointless.

I agree with the previous comments. Male origin after this forced perk change is useless. It's like switching some magic switch. I played Sammy for a long time as a virgin and slowly introduced her to girl stuff. The additional texts related to male origin was what I expected and it was really enjoyable to play. And then suddenly after the perk change we completely forget about the male origin and Sammy acts as if nothing happened and as if she was with this new perk from the beginning. It completely ruined for me the fun derived from playing.

Shop restocking is bugged, this was fixed in version 0.3.2.40
You can still get enough magazines by buying them from Jaylee or the Motel lady
Neither of those was selling things to me, Jaylee started to after scavenging a bunch. Thanks for the help!

I have confirmed that you can get the Exhibitionist perk in the Lake/Beach When you go with Emile you'll need a micro bikini though also I did it with the Male Origin since it's on the first days you need to kinda work like crazy for cash to buy the bikini and yo u can also get the Thong earlier depending on your dialogue choices plus.. you get rid of the bra even though you just buy it lol
At least now I know how to get an initial perk outside choosing it

For example: Sammy got "Alcoholic". If she does not consume alcohol for a certain time, the player can switch the perk to a "passive" state. Or vice versa, turn it on if she drank alcohol.
If you can switch perks, the possibilities for character customization will expand significantly.

Streetwalker are excellent materials for research on the topic of solving problems posed to humanity. Let’s say they first tested drugs and treatment methods for STD. The issue of STD became acute due to events in the past (If I remember the lore correctly and the number of girls has decreased).
A certain organization was secretly researching drugs and treatments for STD on streetwalkers. For participation, money and free treatment were given. The government did not immediately discover this fact and “Times are difficult now and we are satisfied with the results.” Subsequently, the organization secretly tested drugs and methods to reduce the duration of pregnancy on street walkers (and continues to this day). Plastic surgery drugs and methods were similarly tested for streetwalker.
This gives us the "streetwalker" as an ideal subject for current and future research. An important addition is the increase in the birth rate of "streetwalkers". The government and the organization are happy with everything. Any gangs that tried to control the "streetwalkers" quickly "disappeared".

Over time, due to lingering prejudices, the reputation of “streetwalkers” and society’s attitude towards them has not changed. The disappearance of STD and the general ... (what to call the fact that Sammy can sell himself in a bar, (where he studies) and so on), in theory, could remove the “streetwalker”. To preserve the “streetwalkers,” the organization’s curators have developed several strategies.
For example, “you can enter but not leave” - a girl is pregnant, she comes to the curator to buy a means of abortion. The curator convinces the girl, using various “bonuses,” to go through an “accelerated” pregnancy. The girl periodically comes to her curator for medications. While waiting, “prepared” (expensive clothes, training in psychological manipulation) “street walkers” convince the girl to become a “street walker” herself. After work, the reputation quickly spreads in the city and the girl can only work as a “street walker”.

Some of the perks you mention are already like this. Click on the perk in the diary and things like alcoholic show a time limit. If you manage to stay sober during that time, the perk will go away. Same with bimbo, if you increase your int, it will go away.

At some point though I will have Sammy able to go to the psychologist and do some perk shuffling.

I have read this a few times, and I honestly am not sure what you mean.

Will a Bambi character ever be able to shed her shyness?
No, it's part of the role play for that character. Maybe later when the psychologist stuff is in you can change perks.

Honestly while I liked this game for years, not sure how much futher I can follow it over the devs response to the patreon censorship.....
I agree, much better to be added to the pile of banned and abandoned games.
