Um, have you actually read those dialogue boxes? They literally are saying that for the legal paperwork the MC and Emile are not listed as siblings, since that was the easiest way to explain the new body the MC is in. That doesn't change their actual relationship or original bodies being biological siblings. What they are currently would be best described as adoptive siblings since birth, they have no biological relationship (anymore) but were raised as siblings for literally as long as they could remember, and as far as they are concerned the MC and Emile are still siblings.

Making a made-up-on-papers family relation (especially adopted scenario, since you mentioned) would be way easier in this situation than just this "You are unrelated and that's it.".
Also what the hell are you talking about? Explaining MC's new body? He explicitly stated that NO ONE must know about that (besides Emile and those from Institute who should).

But the not related on papers make sense if you make Sam a different ethnicity, also it's funny how nobody react to a change of skin color or breast size (I know early dev but doubt it will change since too much of a hassle to code with all the consequences that it would imply)

It's called inevitable plot holes. It's especially funny since the game itself is based around idea of changing MC's identity for various advantages during missions.
What this guy said. Honestly, I'm surprised people are making more of an issue out of Emile and Sam being sisters and not the fact that Sam can be a black girl one day, a white girl the next, and then a magical girl on the third, and none of her friends will bat an eye over it, and still recognize it's Sam rather than assume it's someone else.
But, I can suspend my disbelief, so, it's all good.

We just need 2 "difficulties": "realistic" and "unrealistic".
In "realistic" you can fully customize your character only at the beginning of the game.
I mean what's the point of this customization access if you will roleplay different routes on separate save files with different looks anyway?

Yeah, seems it's an issue with loading older saves. New version runs these characters at the start of the game while the older version ran them just before the mission.

So, you just have to restrain yourself and NOT DO IT if you want to keep the game at least somewhat realistic.
That's as far as the story goes right now. It will continue in later builds.
Realism at the cost of fun is not a price I pay in the Fixer and fun always wins out. If I were to stick to realism, then there would be no customisation past the initial character creation.
Yeah, that's one thing the hard life sims go way the fuck to into. I don't want to have to track when i need to clip my toenails in a game (only slightly exaggerating how detailed I've seen some get). I know that some people want that, but hyper "realistic" games are not for everyone.
Like an old RAGS game called Cursed was a life sim had an issue early on where the player had to manually remember to eat, if you forgot to eat for (IIRC) 2 days you died instantly. This one at least has the MC go "I'm at school, lets go eat" if the player hasn't manually eaten anything recently, which makes sense.
Oh, seems like it shouldn't really be in the game if it's just a instant transformation. Especially in a game ABOUT gradual transformation. A instant transformation into a woman isn't fun. Guess it was just added to pad out the tag count
