On June 30th of 2021 I released the first chapter of The Fosters. A year later, the game is almost completed. Don't worry, we'll see this family again.

The Fosters 1.0
The Fosters is completed! I hope you've all enjoyed this journey, and the story it told. I'm sure some of you will be disappointed in the ending you get. Just remember, there are other endings. Go back and make a few different choices.

Congratulations and /Respect for being one of the few devs on here willing to bring a project to a close, and not fall into the temptation of milking the patrons for meaningless updates.
I played this game when I first downloaded it last year (and enjoyed it!) but I haven't tried it recently. Not for the last few updates at least. Now that you have a Completed tag on it, I'm going to give it another full playthough this weekend.

So from what I understand from reviews and skimming through the thread there is only 2 paths available for the player. 1 the MC is an abusive sociopathatic rapist and this is the only path with sexual content. 2 the MC is a complete simp loser and this path almost no sexual content. So is just supposed to be a game where the player is forced to give in to their bases desires if any content is to seen?
Congrats on completing the game, seems to be a rare feat these days. My only gripe is
While I agree that in a perfect world where justice wins the day, I thought a gritty look on how fucked the foster system could be would have some better alternate endings. Like in most cases, the guilty walk and the innocent get hung out to dry...have a good guy ending where the MC gets set up and takes the fall, all for doing what was morally right...or the bad guy that goes a bit on the evil side of things and sets someone else up to take the fall, or just gets away with it all together, and gets to return to his victims.
Just left me with the feeling that the Devs went with what was safe, and would cause the least number of waves, instead of shining a light on just how fucked the foster system really is.
Edit: Disappointed there is no NTR in a story where it would have happened in any realm of reality. Fortune favors the bold

Yeah pretty much. It sets up a story with some real potential of being a real pervert and making a porn site. Good guy is a beta cuck, you even get beta and alpha points. Then there is some sex shoehorned in. Like suddenly you go on a date with a girl vs any corruption. Then it just ends.

Alpha doesn't mean(shouldn't mean). Your on a self destructive path. It can have that as an option, but should mean your willing to take charge and try save/fix/keep your family safe.
Figured that was route that gave you the courage to overcome, get rid of your Douche Uncle and that Big John, nope it's your a useless angry twat that wants repeat all same mistakes then go to prison and your family dies.
You can go Beta, but then your just whiny twat. -shrugs- All this sucked period.
BUT, on that note you did write, render, complete a Novella. So grats on that and respect on that front. I just don't agree with how stuff went.
