Does anyone else get an issue when trying to update the NW.js performance patch? The video in the game lags almost as if I went from using GPU acceleration to not using it. It happened both with Treasure of Nadia and now with Genesis Order when I try applying it. I think I'm installing it correctly, just wanted to see if anyone else encountered this issue. The video plays fine if I don't try updating the NW.js for some reason though.

It depends on the computer. Newer nwjs versions do not run well on outdated potato laptops.

I'm getting that on my PC which hasn't been top of the line in a few years but should still be more than enough to run this game. Would lowering graphics fix the issue? If I try to skip the black screen by doing the booty call option the game goes back to the first room in the mansion with the maid (keep forgetting her name) and she blocks me.

Desktop Intel Core i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, so not the newest but don't think it's a potato. Was using the video enhancement movies and it seemed to imply that the performance patch would be needed for them, but ya, I guess if it works fine now, then not needed.

The patch updates the engine files which improves the stability and performance of nwjs. This however depends on your gpu's drivers and if the game use your better instead your on-board gpu (APU).
