Trying to get all the extras figured out right now. What does the switch on the wall, and the button on the floor in Andrea's house do? Also, can you get the snake from the wall yet? And yes, I know there is a search function on this thread, but it's messed up right now.

That's the way the update came and NLT Media's fault not ours. If you start Genesis up after updating and check the version of the game from the splash screen (bottom right-hand corner) you'll see it's the same as posted here. The update number really only needs one digit to describe it anyway because, even if there are more than two releases in any one month to fix bugs, there are never going to be more than nine... hopefully... unless NLT Media have had a particularly bad month of course!
I remember NLT saying that he had contacted a developer to create the new puzzle-making software/webware for TGO, which never really got off the ground, and as far as I know isn't currently being taken forward.
The puzzle editor is built and has been for a while. Patrons can sign in to nlt-media.net to create and test puzzles. Been like for ages from what I've read on the discord.

NLT Media definitely do use the services and expertise of specialist developers to create bespoke software from time to time which perhaps is more cost effective than doing it in house. Not sure about the new launcher. Looks like it will be a while before it replaces the current launcher and until it does we won't know how different (and crackable) it is; a lot depends on what measures NLT Media implement on their server(s) to tighten up security and if they take the trouble their web programmer(s) and system admin(s) could do a lot.
Speaking of abandoned features, am I hallucinating or was there something about a paycheck at the home mailbox, which ended up only happening that one time?

Cried ? NLTs henchman were sweeping through some platforms and " advised " certain users to stop linking copyleft.... I mean copyrighted material in their uploads What does this have to do with creating a video walkthrough tho ?
I can't figure out what the hint in this update about a cone blocking a hole in the wall means. I've found a few cones, but I can't move them or anything.
Edit: I found it. wasn't actually behind a cone..that or I had already moved it somehow.

I've named the file the same as the updater but reckon the version number should have really been v.750502 rather than v.75052 following NLT Media's longstanding established convention.
It's certainly what I meant hence the bit about in my post only needing one digit for the version number. A zero to the left the rightmost digit is a redundant placeholder really because there should never be more than nine updates, two regular and up to seven bug fixes, in any one month, or later, unless NLT Media are spectacularly bad at their job which they aren't. I am obviously not explaining myself clearly and will try to do better when making occasional posts in future.

Yes. But the original idea, as I understood it, was to allow players to create, save, and submit puzzle designs to NLT Media with the best of them included in future game updates as part of the game itself. To be honest I don't bother with NLT Media's Discord because the "conversations" there, well, kind of bore me to death and haven't checked on the beta version of the game editor either for the longest time. This morning after looking at the download area of NLT Media online it seems that you're dead right in what you have written and a lot of progress has been made with the puzzle maker (since last I looked) with a good few puzzles having be made, rated, and made available to play online by and amongst NLT Media supporters. Which makes me wonder why no puzzles have appeared in the game yet, and, with the game petering out and coming to an end, if any of them will before the terminus? Based on what I have just seen the new puzzles didn't seem as good as the old puzzles with the snakes, but then I haven't played any of them for long so maybe they would grow on me if I gave them a chance and they were part of the game rather than web based, which I won't be bothering with.

That's how I remember it too. The current MC was supposed to be a working stiff who earned a regular pay check as a police officer. Obviously it must be dirt cheap to live in North Santiva because, as you say, as far as I can remember he's only been paid once since the game began! Ah. My train has just pulled in. Time to close the laptop. Back next month to post the next update, as soon after its release as possible, as long as the current updater allows me.
