I kinda get a feeling she was considering the MCs character... that's also why she allowed Donna to put a gun on her
if push came to shove she might have faked a struggle forceing Mindlos to increase his Focus on her to make her obey... buying more time and diverting his attention further.

I think we can agree she has some kind of military knowledge...if we go to the movie stereotypes, maybe she was an ex-navy/soldier who oppened her own private business.

Probably... she is part of the Harem/Team anyway... and is eager to meet her other sisters after all.
Yet The other girls still work at Samatha's and he never made a move on them there... so she probably also will keep her business running creating another source of income.
Maybe Mindlos will be so shaken from that encounter that he'll go into hiding researching a way to improve his Serum/abilities

But i don't think the dev has the balls to do something like that.
If he escape, he will return even stronger and better so ... we will suffer another kidnaping.

I think mindlos will be the main villain in this story, like Dr GANG in THE INSPECTOR GADGET show

I just want my happy harem, i want to have happy memories of the MC and the girls fucking without worrying.

hypnosaur is probably right which would mean the game is over if Mindlos is gone... no more story no more Harem and no more fucking-.-
Just for that reason I want him to stay around a bit longer...
But again this Event holds potential to force him into the defence alloweing the player a bit of time to grow his powers/allies and resources (special rooms in the underground area of Riley Mansion to plan and execute coverup missions and maybe a workshop for explosives and stuff, a training ground...) and obviously to reconnect with his Harem now that the pressing matters have been takeing care of

You got no trust in yourself and your Harem? That's sad.
The way the game developes the MC got stronger than Mindlos in the times in between their encounters.
Mindlos still has way of a headstart which allowed him to get out on top... but if the player realises aswell (which is the most likely scenario following the current story telling) that will change soon.
Mindlos is far to trapped in his behaviour to get that much stronger... he'll improve his own powers while keeping his minions out. The MC on the other hand will get more Harem girls and train with them to counter what ever Mindlos can toss at him.
No matter how strong Mindlos thinks he is... he can't disable an entire platoon of furrious girls before going down.
It'll take time ofc... but I have no doubt that the underdog turns into the new king at the very end.

The game developed to far to just turn it into a "Game Over man" at this point without any critical event the MC fails to receive.
So yeah I trust that the story keeps developeing down the path it took so far... granting the MC little victories while Mindlos still wins the battle.
That is until all elements of the game have been included the girls promised/introduced were included to the Harem.
So the whole story gets wraped up... and maybe we'll see a Part II developement with a stronger enemy that forces us to scale our operations up. Alloweing you to corrupt/conquer the entire town... nation ... or for gods sake the entire world

So ... i will have to keep an eye because Mindlos will appear again an after we defeat him ... a stronger enemy appears? Yeah, no thanks. I will play the next update to see what happen in that moment and then, if the cliffhanger is not that bad, i will delete this game from my memory forever
A shame ... because i like the model of the mom a lot, it's unique.

Just to be clear... I am neither the developer nor am I invested in the creation of this game...
all of this is highly speculative based on the current development of both the game mechanics and story.
The idea of a stronger enemy or the ability to take over the entire town was introduced by others on an equally speculative term.
So you might take this all with a grind of salt.

And personally I hope this cliffhanger was only an attempt to get people to actively support Mr.ZZ on his Patreon and hencefor a one time thing...
Cause let's be honest here... those cliffhangers are like blackmail... and noone likes that

This game is going to be some kind of a Monopoly game, with Harem elements.

What I find weird is that the new characters that has been introduced to us, does not seem to have relevant positions.

I know that you have nothing to do with the game, i just answered you, nothing more.
Yes, getting a stronger enemy is a good choice if the enemy is not like Mindlos.
Is good to have some "drama" but not leaving us like that every single update so far, we need a victory, we need a happy conclusion to this arc.

Well my conclusion will be the liberation of his hostages and returning home... from that point I'll plan my counter attack as sitting idle will end bad without a doubt... the final with mindlos can wait until after that and be the climax of the story.
And I agree a new enemy in the middle of the story won't sit with me either... but it would be a nice idea for "The Gift - II"
And in regards of victory... so far we are heavily overpowered by Mindlos... so being able to survive and keep fighting him after each encounter is a small victory for me... dureing the counter attack we can be the victorious one more often by forceing Mindlos to retreat.

She is an expert on technology apparently, she isn't bothering showeing it normally, but after the MCs treatment she shows better insight than expected

I do want to like this game. I do. But so much of the story is just bullshit happening to aggravate the player. Buy night vision goggles for only one of you so you can sneak into a relatively well lit warehouse just to get ambushed? No. Buy a gun and blow Mindlos's brains out from across the parking lot. ...actually I think she made up that quest to get the MC distracted while she met the rest of the Harem and plan out their true strategy for this encounter... as you said that makes far more sense than getting those googles... they are pretty nice though so she might keep them as a Bonus.

I'm guessing that Rachel is improvising and that she isn't truly under Mindloss' control. She's merely playing along and waiting for the perfect opportunity.
Now that she's so close to him and he's in a rather compromised position, then she kinda holds all the cards.
She could bite his dick off, shoot him in the dick, crush his balls, hold him at gunpoint, etc.
As long as he's unable to give orders (too much pain, unconscious, she interrupts him, etc.) then it's game over for him really.

The MC could really have played it a little smarter prior to being gagged though and tried to gain control of Mindloss' slaves to break them out of Mindloss' control at least.

Even with Mindloss disposed of, there could still be repercussions from the entity that has been backing him (for some reason I feel like Samantha's ex/Victoria's father could be involved), so his Mindloss' continued presence is not particularly necessary to the continuation of the story.
