Yeah, I brought this up in a previous post on this thread about how creators for these games should never end any update on a major cliff hanger like what this game got due to how likely many creators are to just up and abandon it. The only times I can understand a creator leaving the game on a hiatus is if the creator makes their living solely making these games or they're making these games for fun and aren't relying on patreon to do that. Otherwise, we may have issues as we see 75% of these game creators abandon their projects half way through.

We already seen lots of excuses lately from same developer. So i would not be surprised if somehow along the line when patreons drop below certain number he suddenly lose interst and just make up an excuse and abandone the entire thing. he has been dragging the entire rescue thing for far to long. even when rescue attempt was imminant. he somehow bodge that up the family could have been rescued like say 4 or 5 episodes ago.

So has there been any news on how his patreon took the delay this time ? wow looks like his discord was filled with hatefull comments.. at least on F95 it did not derail like that.

or no one actually cares enough by now... thinking back on the shit storm right after that Cliffhanger release everything had been said... further delaying will just cost him more curious and potential fans/donors anyway

the Problem is when your spare communication with your fans are perceived as lies...
a while ago he claimed to have suffered a complex multi fracture on his arm... barely 2-3 weeks later it was completly healed... a likely scenario for a simple fracture, but hell of a recovery for a "complex multifracture".
Either he lied about the complexity of the fracture to make people shut up and give him time to recover or the doubters stateing, that the "proof" (uploaded picture of the arm) looked like one of his better renders...
Getting more excuses and delays following such a thing certainly didn't help his credibility.
Maybe a release will restore some... but it certainly suffered... and based on that he might never fully recover from the loss in Patrons duo to this

I think the only way to win some people back would be to deliver this update and hope that it's well-received I mean I think it will if it ends all the Mindlos stuff and we can eventually fully concentrate on using our powers and getting more women into our harem but I guess we will have to wait and see whenever this will be eventually released.

Why is nobody talking about the image in the report? You are in a bed and the place looks like the same place that you are now. The feet is not chained to the bed and i don't remember seeing this woman before, anyone remember her? Maybe the situation where the cliffhanger ends is longer that we expect? Is she a friend of Rachel are we are being treated in that same place because reasons? This image after the last image where you can see Rachel with the taser is more concerning and make me nervous about what will happen.

I think everyone's attention has been focused on the dev and where the update is for this to go unnoticed, but that's a good spot there it certainly is that same building that the MC and Rachel went to. Either this woman will help the MC out of the goodness of her heart or the MC will use his powers, but like you say very worried about Rachel now unless Mindlos starts getting those headaches just as she is about to do the deed and she doesn't go through with it.

You are right, i remember now her. Then maybe this is a good thing because the mc is wounded in the cliffhanger and he is tired and the girls call this girl. I want to think this because if she is another Mindlos girl ... then we are fucked. But i think from the looks of the face that the situation is good for us, this is probably after we rescue the girls.

Maybe the money we gave to Rachel is to pay a nurse like her or something like that, no? Because that money need to have a use or we gave her money for nothing?

It looks like, they are going to introduce the nurse to us, in the following update.

So I have been playing the game from scratch (new PC and I did not have the time to figure out how to transfer saves for this before needing to wipe the system on the old one), and I realised something. Rachel is suspicious as fuck! Seriously, the first time around I just disregarded her as trying to be all "mysterius PI woman" shit, but playing the thing from the begining with the current cliffhanger in mind made me see some weird things about her.

1) She is waaaay to outgoing with trying to seduce the MC (this goes first because this IS a porn game, but in the light of the other things below it makes me suspicious).
2) She keeps talking about the MC hiding something - this one is also weak, as she is supposed to be an experienced PI, so maybe she is supposed to be good at reading people, but as with the above, it all accumulates.
3) The face she makes when the MC uses his power on her is slightly different than the other girls. They all hold their mouths gaping open, but the other women's eyes open wide and eyebrows rise, so that their expressions seem like those of a shock, or surprise, while Rachel's eyes stay the same as she usually has (or maybe even go slightly more narrow) and she frowns. Its almost like she only vaguely knows how this face is supposed to look like and is faking it (possible hint at an immunity?).
4) During the last meeting in her office, before the rescue attempt, Rachel goes on about how she knows that the MC has had sex with Fiona and Ashley - how in the hell did she learn that? There was nobody there and all done in the privacy of their own home. I struggle to come up with any possible means of her finding this out, unless the MC would tell her (which he didn't), or she actually met Fiona and Ashley. She may have been in contact with Victoria, but Victoria has not even had a chance to meet the two.

The final piece for me is a thing she says when meeting you on the park bench. "we will find them, and we will make him pay."

"make him pay"? The MC never even mentioned until this point any wilingness for revenge or anything like that - his only interest was finding and rescuing the girls. With all the above, it feels like Rachel actually knows Mindlos, and perhaps has a grudge against him herself. Did she plant herself in the PI office, knowing somehow ahead of time that the MC is going to visit this specific one? If so, than hell - her name might not even actually be Rachel, as that might have not even been her office. If she does have an immunity to being controlled (like I described in point 3), does she also fake it during the cliffhanger? Can she end up being/ working for any new antagonist some people were speculating could appear in the story? Did I leave too many questions at the end of this post? And most imprtantly:

WHERE THE HELL IS THE UPDATE?!

I'd like to see more of Nikki the girl we met at the shop the one that we are going to help at some point if she drops the drug habit she would be perfect.

Too bad the developer doesn't seem to make a great game on the updates and on the mechanics, I really like the mom model which has a nice body, a nice figure. Only for it I will continue to play this game, even if I don't wait for much.

I think his name was George, and while he was a douchebag of the highest sort, he did not even hit the MC. The MC fainted because of his increasing headaches, and according to Fiona, Clara talked mr. douchebag down and into leaving.

That's right seeing it's been so long since I played that part, I think all I remember is just little parts of when the family wasn't abducted

I'm sure that nurse we see will also play a part in helping Nikki kick the habit she would certainly be the most qualified this is what I'm looking forward to the most is getting back on track with all the mansion work and making our harem bigger this whole Mindlos stuff has had it's time even more so after the delay.

I agree with you there. I never liked the abduction subplot in the first place. I think I already mentioned this somewhere in this thread, but from the start I felt like rescuing Fiona and Ashley is basically endgame stuff, as it will probably be hard to come up with a satisfactory plot where we do save them, but Mindlos remains a threat. And to my irritation, the dried-up-plumhead man is most likely here to stay. So we either end this project soon, get more abduction bullhshit, or we get some new antagonist out of nowhere.

I mean, the dev could just give us a nice, simple plot about using mind control powers to build a harem and suit up a kickass mansion for ourselves and our girls, but... I mean look at what we have now...

I'd be all for that much better than all this long dragged out drama, I'm just wondering if anyone else feels like this? would you prefer we got straight to the Harem and Mansion stuff? or would you still like the drama? I think with drama it probably takes a bit longer to develop as well you have to have that good plot stuff.
