I'm pretty sure the devs has stated on several occasions, that this game is on hold indefinitely because they have found work which pays them a lot more than they will ever earn from this game on Patreon. That is why their Patreon payments are on hold.
While it's very disappointing it's hardly surprising. I doubt any of us would be willing to forgo a greater income just to keep some perverts on a pirate porn forum happy. Do I think this game is dead? Yes. But stranger things have happened. Maybe their new job falls apart and they decide to resurrect this game to put food on the table. But I seriously doubt it.

Main dev still wanted to work on it was the last I had seen from them, but the renderer vanished since then not much has been heard, so unless he figures something out the future of this game is stagnated, the main Dev had actually put a hold on it to try and figure things out, hadn't heard the job bit before, but if thats true good for him, maybe it relates to the renderer, not sure. (Still some hope, but Id just put it in the wait and see category, watching other games more actively myself, sadly there is nothing with quite the same feel, and the only one even trying to match it is probably a year or two from the point of catching up story wise, if it is still in development)

Mother can be seen riding her date one night for a few seconds if you don't stop the date.
That is all.
Over the past year, he could have spent an hour a day, and had a nice side income stream. Or a few hours on the weekend. Money is money...I think he ran out of ideas for the story and gave up.

Jstforme considering even before they released 0.8, he noted how many updates worth of ideas he had, that doesnt really hold water.
I think it simply breaks down to losing a few team members that were really needed aka Art renderers, he already had the rest done for another release, then possibly finding work, and getting busy doing what he had to do, to make money.
Could he have done it all alone, doubtful or the quality would have dropped and then he would have wasted that time, which is better spent with family, anyway what happens, happens.

I'm curious about where does your conviction this game ever had a team comes from. Did he ever mention anyone?
Is that so? I've heard of that happening to another developer (Iksanabot) before but that's the first time I've ever heard of that reason for this developer. And as far as I know, that wasn't the reason given for putting Patreon payments on hold late last year neither.

Does somebody have the gift (not reloaded)? Tried to search it here on f95zone but came up empty handed. Searching it since it have some other paths than the reloaded.
