Yes. By default step- of course but you set it in game and doesn't make much sense to leave it as step-. It's one of those games.

These games that make you decide character relationships if you want incest are always so annoying and worse than the ones that need an incest patch. And even if they don't mess it up on the coding side, the writing still won't sound right half the time thanks to the grammar limitations that entails. (ie: Calling her "Mother" in instances where it sounds too formal or "Mom" in instances where it sounds too casual. Not to mention when the words should be capitalized or lowercase.)
I found an option that seems to be working quite well for me so far. i named myself : Chuck ... because the character felt it was a better fit. and : Alex , just ... well sucks. (unless you name is : Alex, and yer a chick.. hmm, guess it doesn't matter,,,)
And i named her : Hug-a-Muffin ...ehheheheh ... i don't know, It Just Works !!
and I am her : naughty boy ... Because, it's a Porn Game, i aint waiting, i Know what i'm gonna do...
now.. go crank up some AC/DC; Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap ... and start over

If NTR is developed well, it makes it easier for the developer to write a more varied, conflicted, and exciting story that's less likely to degenerate into boredom, but it's not essential.
We will see if the good resources presented will not be wasted.
