The Good Son - Progress Continues
I've been making fair progress on the next update of The Good Son since releasing Girl Spy last month. The sex change content is fully functional, but it hasn't spread into all related scenes so sometimes a penis is referred to in a random Cauldron scene when it doesn't exist any more. It's a work in progress.
It looks like I won't have very much time at all to develop anything during the month of April, which means it makes a lot of sense to release the next update in March, or around April 1st (this isn't an April Fools joke - the update will be released around April 1st, actually).
I want to include as much as possible by pumping in as much content as I can in the 45 days remaining. 'Side events' are the last things I add so they're the first on the chopping block. But I really will try to make v0.10 as jam packed with stuff as is possible. Definitely sexual reassignment surgery is there. Definitely the plot developments following the last update are in there, whether you are on team Katie or team Nazarov. There will definitely be new date nights with lovers for you to play with your new sexual equipment.
Heather has been without an update in a while so she's my first priority in terms of side content. Olivia got a lot last time so she might take a backseat. Whoring I'd like to add more to, too. The single path is currently a low priority. Lexi deserves a new scene for sure...

Yes, deleonard literally says that in the first sentence. But this tells us we should expect the update soon.
Yeah and if you read the post it says that there's going to be an update around April 1st. Mind you lobsterman9999's deadlines aren't always accurate but we should expect an update relatively soon

Just played this one for a moment. In fact, player has no real choice : he becomes a subservient hetero female. No dominant lesbian female, no subservient gay male...etc... So, the route is not as entertaining because MC doesn't make a lot of choices. The different endings are just linked to the moment when you stop paying the mafia.
I mean that is the plot?
It was never said that the game will be sandbox with totally open choice.

Well theres branches for different parts, the GF route with the white teacher could end up with you being the 'dom' in that relationship over the GF, with her probably ending up getting whored out/porn shooting
Tho yes all the different routes tend to make you a feminized slut.
to be fair as far as the main story is concerned its just camp katie or camp russian mob guys (sorry brain fart). the rest is just flavor text.
No such game is a real sandbox game. It can't be. The problem here is there's no real choice. I tried to resist and go only for the minimum change and noticed you're forced to become gay to accept wearing make-up and polish. That's nonsense. There could easely be two path. One for feminization, one for sexual encounters. It would be far more rewarding than to understand : okay, I'm stuck on the trans, man attracted, submissive, whore path. In terms of coding, it would change almost nothing (allow makeup without wearing the sport suit) and base problems with Susan only on Estrogen rate in blood (which would remain consistent) That'a a shame to implant more than ten endings and not using these type of differences. And the only route in the game wouldn't be "the alpha well membered male I end with".

gay tag. It never claims you'd be able to avoid any of that. So yeah, that's what you get with it.

I don't understand why so many people are unhappy. For me, the game has one problem - you can't fuck Cade and corrupt Olivia at the same time.
