your argument not entirely valid since you are comparing different time and platform to made the game. i think those who think this "game" isnt a game bc the dev made it with renpy which had the ability to attach images/vids easily.
second to this. if dev wanna made a text-based game while attaching some images. twine is much easier. esp when youre able to made options branching out visually. it is possible to create a text-based game with (e.g.) renpy, unity or unreal engine, but those game engines wasnt meant made for that
The goal is not to make a text-based game. The goal is to make the script to a game that with the help from an artist can be turned into a game with a good story and beautiful pictures.

You know what? I often avoid text based games but since this one seems BDSM centered and also happens to have an interesting game concept, I'm really into it lol.
The story is good for now. I like the main characters, which is quite uncommon. I usually don't like the MC... it's rare to have someone who is NOT a spoiled and pathetic little brat as MC. So much so that it makes me wonder about how the new generations are, considering that they are the main target of those works...
The other characters feel more realistic than the usual too.
I like Violet, Angelina and Jenny for now. Violet's behaviours are perfect for the moment, she seems quite compatible with my tastes too.
I think in the story she could be a realistic submissive wife (and maybe a masochist). There is not enough yet to say that for sure but it feels that way even if we still don't know enough of them and their past.
What I mean is that she seems ok with lots of things, but within some kinds of rules, borders, and she looks like she needs honesty and to keep her trust (these kinds of relationships beyond the appearances are based first of all on a deep trust, much more than normal relationships).
Usually these games on f 95 have a little of BDSM only in "corruption routes", but BDSM both as lifestyles or just games have nothing to do with corruption, more like the opposite, if not considering abusive assholes who are just using it as a cover.
I think many in that secret society are of this last kind probably, I would never trust them. I hope the MC will not be like that or that there will be several different routes available. I dislike sly and manipulative people.
Jenny might easily reveal herself soon or later as a kind of person I don't like but it doesn't matter, the relationship can stay strictly "professional" if so or it can be broken. After all they are still nothing for eachother for now, they are together for a random chance. In time that is going to change.
If she can be MC's slave or pet or maid or whatever, without considering THS above him and their relationship, then I will keep liking her too. I can see it going both ways anyway.
In comparison in "2nd Chance" between both seasons if I remember well I only liked Sarah, Audrey and Emily enough to really consider as potential partners I guess (if not considering blood links etc, only by how they are). I wouldn't touch Zoey with a stick much less with my cock, and I would not consider Harper and Cassandra for a serious relationship, or I would break it up soon anyway after knowing them more.
In this game of course I don't trust THS at all and I will play this way at least the first few times, as I said before I like the characters for now. In his place as in mine I would kill anyone touching my family.
Please keep at least a road or more open for keeping your family (including the slave if loyal) safe. Behind huge walls and a minefield if possible.

I loved pen and paper RPGs. Much better than any CRPGs if the master/narrator was good.
There were MUD (multi user dungeon, also other systems with other names which I forgot) on computers too, text based or sometimes with very simple (ASCII for instance) graphics.

Yes, I want the MC to be someone that the player enjoys playing. I also hate those games where the MC is a sly and manipulative asshole. I consider my MC to be a good person, but if you prefer that he spits in Jenny's face then I allow you to do that too.
Something I learned from writing The 2nd Chance is that people don't like to be forced into sexual scenes. This time I will give the player the opportunity to avoid most sexual encounters. The exception will be MC/Angelina because that is too big part of this story, and also because this is the backstory to The 2nd Chance (Where it will be revealed that Angelina has a sexual relationship with her stepdad). But if you want to train Jenny without having sex with her then that is possible. I will also try to create one sexual story and one none-sexual story with the other female characters that I will introduce later in this story.

I have made a pilot for The 2nd Chance with art. But the full story is just text-based ( 2nd Chance, 2nd Chance season 2 ).
The Higher Society is the backstory for one of the characters in that game (Angelina). This story takes place a few years before the 2nd Chance story begins.

I would love it if an artist makes pictures for all the games. I think this game will be easier for an artist to work on because it's less locations than in The 2nd Chance. The actions also repeats more often; Wake up - Breakfast with family - Drive Angelina to school - Go to the film set - Dinner with family - Afternoon activity - Sex? - New day.
