on the other note, are you still working on Childhood Friend Days Living with Anna for 14 Days ? or it got scrapped already? There's still hope in this one since I dont see any mtl of it yet.


Anyway, my condolence on your tl in this game , rip. Not everyone knows that a translation is being worked on it, so it's bound to be mtled.

Sorry, I shouldn't have agreed to that one. It was more passing interest. Working on two other projects right now; one's done but haven't gotten around to uploading. The second is now my primary since this one (my former priority) is already done.

And thanks. Unfortunately (or fortunately), this is the devs' decision, not just some rando here who decided to use MTool or T++'s batch trans option. If it were the latter, I MIGHT have just continued working on this translation, depending on how good the MTL was, but since the devs themselves decided to AI translate, it's not worth the work nor the risk/hassle to do so. If I really do decide to turn this translation into a passion project, I'll finish it and privatize it for myself.

I see, I guess I can finally try and play this game with mtool and see what this game is all about. But yeah, it wouldve been nice to notify that this was already dropped earlier to avoid unwanted expectations.

Oh, I didnt know Double Melon went for ai tl. In that case, that's understandable.

Well that's depressing. Considering how shit the AI translation is, knowing that it destroyed the possibility of an actually good translation makes it so much worse.

if it's just a patch there should be no legal issues, so if you do decide to keep doing it please make it public.

So is this just a generic porn game that uses instant hypnosis as an excuse to skip to sex scenes, or does it actually do anything with the concept? I find that the former is becoming more and more common in Japanese games. (That, or having a generic rape game that includes a "hypnotized by old man" scene just so they can include the tag.)

Also, is "Hypno" a banned word now? They know that the credit card companies behind the "anti-rape" fiasco aren't going to abide by their typical "block out one letter and put a bar through the middle of the vagina" tactics, right?

Maybe your manual TL would be better than the AI TL... but indeed it can be disheartening...
