It might not be the "best" version of this game, but it's the best version of this mod, the thread is dedicated to.
I'd say that Kristo's early version is still the best english version, unless someone translates his more up to date releases, but its not going to be in the OP.

That version has broken English (Not super bad, but there are some MTL moments) and doesn't have NPC+ as far as I know.

You are wrong, it has npc+ and it's in English, not "some different language", as you said. Also you wrong, it's finalized.

Multiple other people have mentioned that it doesn't have NPC+, which I downloaded to check and I didn't see it either, only the Beauty mod.
I never said that version isn't English, when I was talking about different language, I was talking about the Spanish version that has both Beauty and NPC+ mod, but like I said, it's in Spanish.
However I did say that that version has broken English, not broken as in super bad, but it does have MTL moments in it.

You quite literally just proved that it's missing some NPC+ stuff, which is my point. On top of that there's a Spanish version. (1) There's Kezza329's version (2) he had compiled but that one seemed to have issues with NPC+ as well. (Not sure if that version is up for grabs anymore tho.) And then there's Inomsim's version (3) which doesn't have the "new" stuff that the Spanish version has. So that's 3 different versions. The 4th I'll admit was the same version as one of the other 3 but from a different upload provider, so I assumed it was a 4th one, my bad. But there's those 3, all of which has their pros and cons. (Missing stuff or in a different language, that being Spanish)
All I was saying is that it would be less of a mess if there was a version that had everything, fixed English, Beauty mod, NPC+ and the extra Spanish content but in English. Hence the request for an AIO (All in one) pack.
Not sure as to why that is such an absurd and "wrong" thing to say
Also coming at me for accidentally writing "that" twice on a forum post where if you delete a word it also deletes the space between the word, in comparison to something written in a game is quite petty, but you do you.
Also the "finalized" part was meant at having the OP be updated accordingly, so that the thread would be finished, not in regards to the game's development. Idk if that's what you assumed.

Now I get it, you just CAN'T READ and SEE, because I wrote and showed that Prostracrinatus DOES HAVE NPC+ and EVEN MUCH MORE NPC than Kristo.
It PROVES YOU WRONG.
So why bother to read your further "reasons" if you fail to understand even such simple thing?!

Guys, clearly there is confusion going on, making it obvious that indeed there does not seem to be a "all inclusive" best way to play imperial gatekeeper. If someone does decide to put that together, I for one would be very grateful.

It has been ages since i last messed with this stuff, but i think the patches in the same link, or just re-reading the last few pages of that thread might help you out on the matter.

Truth be told, all versions are mostly in english, what varies is the degree of brokeness and that Kristo's mod/patch also has some dialogue bits in spanish (mainly on his custom NPCs).

That and availability of mob characters or some NPCs is what differentiates the multiple versions like this (since most were mods based themselves in a complete but not quite final version).

And yeah, everybody would be so much happier with it all if Wolf RPG wasn't such a utterly hermetic mystery black box for almost all of us.

Looks like work is being worked on regularly but the community rules still don't want any discussion of release beyond "when Procrastinatus feels it is ready in a quality state".
