Been a while since I released a big update.

2 to 3 years ago I changed my release schedule in favor of smaller updates released every month.

And, when I started CH2 development, I switched again to a 2 to 3 months window between updates.

1.01.03 might feel like it's very small, and that's because it is.

It took 3 months of development but a lot of RL stuff also happened in these 3 months, so I got a bit sidetracked along the way.

You are more than welcome to come and talk about the game and how much you like it. Everyone can agree to that.

But the Dev has already made the decision on how often they will release updates. On more than one occasion. Coming in here and whining about it does not help in any way and most likely irritates the hell out of the Dev.

If you want to go basically fully animated you should consider a game in a fully 3D graphic like the already mentioned last hope. Or else is gonna be extremely bloated and require a shitload of chapters something like 10 gigas each other.
This is what happen when you screencap every single thing instead of using stand-up sprites on a static background. And fill it with video animations, or even worst png animations.
Yeah, it look gorgeous. But you end with billions of CGs and video files. This is why the japanese pros avoid it and mostly use live2D for the animations.
