I agree with you in that creators Are judged by their other works.
If someone likes TID less than N&T, that is fine - their opinion.
I think botc76 gave a solid review of The Interim Domain.
The Interim Domain is Not Now and Then, and TOXICity will not be either Now and Then or The Interim Domain.
I understand that this AVN did not resonate with some people the way that N&T did.

If your only experience with TID was a monthly playthrough, then the stories of each of the women cannot be immersive the way they could be if you started playing TID now, with all the solo endings in place, where you choose whose story to enjoy and for how long before you switched to another woman.
I also think giving TID a negative review because it is not Now and Then is, kindly put, misguided.
Now and then resonated with me, and I suspect many others, because it played out at the same time as the COVID pandemic did, making for a more real experience.
The Interim Domain CANNOT resonate with us the way N&T did since it is an End of the World AVN - After the world is all but dead.
I don't expect to be around in the equivalent of TID the way I lived the journey of the MC, Carol, Naomi and others while experiencing the COVID pandemic in RL.
In The Interim Domain, saying goodbye to most of the women was hard - it hit me in the feels - and I missed checking in on many of them once I made my choice on who to spend my life with.
If someone did not get immersed in the stories of some/many of the women, then I would not expect them to be impacted the way I was.
That is fine - we all view our entertainment through the lens of our own experiences.
I consider both The Interim Domain and Now and Then to be excellent AVNs, and they will never leave my AVN library.
Given how much I enjoyed both AVNs, I have every reason to believe that TOXICity will complete a trifecta of AVN goodness by the dev, Kinderfeld!

Completely agree and I can give an example based in my opinion only.
Denis Villeneuve have a great director career, some of the start of career movies were ok by me in terms of genre/story some weren't at all but all of them shown his great director skills, and then came "Arrival" movie that really annoyed me since I'm a sci-fi/fantasy lover and label that as sci-fi for me was a joke/insult but whatever, it is only my opinion and the movie had great success (no idea why, it is pseudo sci-fi and the plot makes no sense) and I agree that it kept and enhanced past movies in terms of greatness of production, but I felt pity of those great actors in it on a such a poor story/plot movie
.After that I got a bit resistant to watch anything he did but I'm glad I did watch them and on theaters, he really improved some of the sci-fi classics remaking them when after my biased opinion almost made me miss them hehe. After that I learned to never judge a creator just based on a past "mistake" and look at them on their overall skills.
Yeah I tried to read botc76 review but couldn't find it, was it deleted just because of that remark? Well moderators should listen to reports only if they have some validity but since I didn't read it I can't "judge" it if was "inappropriate" or not. Still seems weird since I trust your opinion that the review was solid.
Yep I think I got lucky to start it when the main story was almost finished and got much more immersive this way, I still prefer linear VNs like I mentioned before and hope to see one day this story in a director's cut where the "sandbox" aspect is totally cut off. To see it in the eyes of the creator their chronological view of the events.
Same here I read them both back to back with Now and Then completed and The Interim Domain around version 0.27 or 0.28 (can't remember exactly). I enjoyed them both but yeah like you said probably TID resonated much more to me probably because of my past experiences to the point that right now I probably had to play N&T again to remember it better

The problem is that it is a completely different game, with a different way to play it, a different way to tell the story and a different approach to the very general topic of continuing on after the end of the world.
IF you want and expect this game to be the same as Now & Then you are doing the game a disservice and judge it unfairly.
There are many instances where I find comparisons as you mention them perfectly fine, but if a game is so base-line different to the previous work of the creator, judging it against that doesn't make a lot of sense.
Still, I would be fine with it, if someone just writes he liked the other game better and wanted another straight up VN, the problem comes with the claims that this game is worse, because it isn't told in the same way and doesn't have the same characters.

How is this shit amazing? if it's a movie in cinemas or theaters I probably would agree but it's an adult game and the purpose is to satisfy our sexual needs, how am I suppose to enjoy and be satisfied with banging the dead/ghost LI who has no idea that the world has ended and they are already dead. Only those who has necrophilia fetish will enjoy this

No, that's what you think they're supposed to do. The point of any art, no matter the medium is to make you feel something. While you're putting all adult games under the porn games umbrella, you'll miss out on a great many deal of good stories told by lot of developers here. Just say you're looking for quick jerk off material and move on.

Well not sure but I got the download in the OP from GoFile (even though it says 4.1GB it is really 3.93 like all other links I checked, just didn't mixdrop because I hate that site even with adblocker on lol) and they all seem the same 3.9-3.93GB zipped size. And compared with version 0.30 it is larger so don't think the quality decreased. But can't say for sure because didn't played the update yet, still on the queue of game updates to play for me

Probably not, but the game was always extremely compressed (too much, tbh) so it might just be a case of remembering it to be better than it really was...
