Rather, you should ask if the prices will be reasonable, because from what I know the dev initially demanded $12 for access to updates(at minimum if you only sub on release months) which I have to admit is quite an exorbitant price.

That sounds like sandbox to me. Definitely not the kind of thing you'd find in a VN changelog.

The dev also doesn't plan to do public releases in the future for anyone that doesn't pay $11.50.

I smell an abandoned game already. $12 per update(at minimum if you only sub on release months) is laughable for an indie adult (porn) game, and this dev expects people to pay at least $35 to get access to the releases when they first drop. $23 to receive the next update... almost a week after release. Yikes. Even DrPinkCake doesn't expect anything near that from his subs.

If nothing has changed in the developer's approach then even if the developer resumes work on the game it will be quickly abandoned due to the fact that it will not achieve popularity

After thinking everything over, now that I'm on Subscribestar I decided not remove anything from my game. The original story will continue with the blackmail and the incest.

Update is coming soon. I can't give you an exact date, there is a lot of animations and different paths with different characters to render. And up until late January I was repairing the damage that the fire has caused and I barely worked on my game due to all the stress and the bullshit with everything.

Now once again I'm working on it as much as I can. And it's ultimately up to my Gpu now, some scenes render faster some slower. When the update is ready it will be on my Subscribestar.

I'm sad to hear this. There are plenty of games out there with blackmail and incest. I was hoping for once we could get a good quality game with blackmail, rape etc. WITHOUT incest. I'm pretty sure that those who will end up supporting you, will do so even if you remove incest from the game (so far it has only been hinted, so no rework needed). But once there is incest involving the MC, in the game, I'm done supporting you, and the game will only take up space in my recycle bin.

the blackmail is optional that also means the incest parts will be too yes you take the challenge over but will be entirely up to the player to go through with it or not

So you can go through with the challenge incl. blackmail etc., without facing incest? If not, it's like the car dealer saying to you. "Paying for the car is optional. Just don't buy it"

Optional incest to me means that the same story is available in an incest version and a none incest version. It's not optional if you have to skip half of the story to avoid incest.

1 path of the 2 is currently locked. The one where the MC misses the bus and spends the weekend in Meteor Valley, next update probably wont break the saves but I wont bullshit you, one update in the future will break saves, since achievements and Replay room and some other stuff will be added down the line that will break stuff. when will this update happen I have no idea but the sooner the better, after these core stuff are added and they are working properly there wont be anything to break saves in future updates
