yes and next update comes later this year.

curing horse and getting money can't be completed (well latter can but takes forever) and same thing is returning princess and couple others.
Not 100% certain but I think the dev said he was aiming for spring for the release.

Hello, everyone,

I’ve decided to write a post about what I’ll have to work on in the near future and what worries me these days. To be honest, the closer I get to writing the code and compiling everything I’ve made for TLE, the more anxious I get. I’m afraid of having to do something I’ve never done before and something I may have to do from scratch as I probably won’t be able to find any accurate tutorials online. But I’ve never given up because of my fears, and I hope things will go more than smoothly this time, as usual.

Now let’s take a look at what I’m planning to add to the game. I won't go into much detail. I’ll just explain what the mechanics I’m planning to create entail.

1) Real-time quests. Those of you who have played Dragon Age Inquisition or the old Assassin’s Creed games probably know what I mean. You send your companion on a quest, and they come back after some time has passed in the real world.

2) An abilities panel, like in Dragon Age Origins or World of Warcraft, where you can manually arrange the abilities you use in battle as you see fit. In addition, each ability will have a hot key, which will probably be customisable as well.

3) Buying and acquiring houses and customising them a little. I’m also planning to make it possible to hang the paintings you find on your adventures in your house in whatever order you wish.

4) A hierarchical structure of the Faces of Shadows (kind of like the orc hierarchy in Shadow of Mordor). Perhaps the hierarchy won’t be changeable in this update, but it’s something for the future. And you’ll be able to see your position and how awesome you are.

5) Standard repeatable tasks such as killing enemies, finding items and bringing them back to get your payment and experience. I guess there’s no need to explain what these quests are. It’s clear.

6) Skills and talents as well as the talent of persuasion and the eloquence skill. Together, they will allow you to persuade a character to do what you need in certain conversations (those of you who have played DAO will understand).

7) The combat system will feature a separate panel with the potions you can use. The strength of the potions will be tied to the alchemy skill of the heroine who created them. That is, if you level up Annie’s alchemy skill, it’ll be more rewarding to let her make potions instead of Lora. And as Lora, you can level up other talents and skills.

8) A combat system that will feature 112 abilities (if I remember correctly). You have already seen these abilities in the game, but it is not yet possible to use them. This will be addressed in the upcoming update. It’ll be possible to combine certain abilities, increasing their effects (those of you who have played DA will understand).

There may be something else that I can’t remember at the moment. So, we’ll let the rest be a surprise:)

If you have any interesting ideas regarding game mechanics (perhaps you enjoyed certain mechanics in other games), let me know in the comments. If I like it, I’d be happy to add something similar to my game.

With love,
MrgT

I know that ChatGpt cannot provide adult story material. Adult material is hard, especially when the main character is a woman, and you have to deal with pressure from all sides. If you are making a male lead, it is no different from watching a movie. The game is about being different, or don't do it.

another restart. oh well.
I may be wrong, but I don't think it's another reboot/restart/remake.
For what I understand, these new mechanisms will be implemented in the next version.
The current is 0.0.3, and the next will be 0.1(.0).

This seems very ambitious.

I want to ask something though, I don't really know much about the side game, but it looks like your usual VN. Does it also have mechanics like the ones explained in this post or is it just the usual VN game?

All side stories are usual VNs (almost kinetic)

If LORA can wear those dramatic skirts to work and go shopping, and can choose whether to wear them or not, it will appear that her heart is turbulent.

Hello, everyone,
I’ve decided to write a small post to give you some information about the releases planned for the near future and tell you what I’m going to work on so that you can have a clear idea of what’s coming and save your money.
First of all, as I mentioned in my last post, I’m back to writing the dialogue for The Enchantress. I probably won’t write any stories for my side projects until I finish the new update for The Enchantress. That means there won’t be any new releases in the next 3–4 months. I believe it is necessary to let you know this since some of you might become my patrons to gain early access to new releases, and I won’t release anything any time soon.
So, you can unsubscribe until the release of The Enchantress. I think that would be the right thing to do.
As I stated earlier, the release window is May–July. If I can't finish the update until May, I will most likely stop charging you in June.
After the new update for The Enchantress comes out, I plan to release a new version of Lifelong Secret that will be bigger than usual. My idea is that this update will consist of about 2–3k renders, and I’m going to release it within 1–2 months after the release of The Enchantress v. 0.1.

===============================================================================

Come on, come on, we are waiting for your good story. Don't disappoint everyone's expectations

Hello everyone,

Today I’ve been thinking about how long I’ve been developing the new instalment of The Enchantress and how far things have come.

Since the last update was released on December 1, 2021, the game has been in development for 506 days so far. That looks like a huge number. But if we take a closer look… I calculated the number of scenes I've done and the number of lines I've written, and here’s the result.

I’ve done about 19,000 scenes so far (17,500 of them have been rendered). Each scene takes about 10 minutes. So, if we multiply the number of scenes by the time it took to create them, we get t = 19,000 * 10 = 190,000 minutes. Let’s divide this number by 60 to get the number of hours I’ve spent creating the scenes: T = 190,000/60 = 3,166 hours. We divide it by 24 to get the number of days it took me to create the scenes: T = 3,166 / 24 = 131 days.

So, it turns out I’ve spent 131 of the 506 days of development on just the scenes. Now let’s estimate the average time I’ve spent writing the dialogue.

So far, about 50,000 lines of dialogue have been written for The Enchantress. Let me remind you that for the side stories, I also wrote the dialogue and plot (I didn’t make the scenes and renders), so I’ll add the lines from those stories to the total. All stories consist of about 15,000 lines. The total is 65,000 lines. Each line contains approximately 12 words. Let’s multiply that to get the number of words I’ve written: N = 65,000 * 12 = 780,000 words. My typing speed is about 90 words per minute, but let’s keep in mind that I can’t always type that quickly. I have to think about the dialogue as well. So, I need to reduce my typing speed to about 30 words per minute. Let’s divide the number of words by the typing speed to determine the time it took me to type everything: t = 780,000 / 30 = 26,000. Let’s divide this number by 60 and 24 to find out how many days I’ve spent typing: t = 26,000 / 60 / 24 = 18 days. Of course, this estimation is rough and is lower than the actual number as I can’t always come up with a plot quickly. Sometimes I have to sit for half an hour, thinking about all the branches of dialogue, but it roughly looks like this.

So, I’ve spent 149 days developing the game. By the 149/506 ratio, we can determine that I spent about 7 hours every day developing the game over the course of 506 days. So, there you have it.

I don’t know why I’ve written all this. I guess I’ve been feeling sad lately because the development is taking so long. I felt that I wasn’t doing enough, but looking at these numbers, I’ve realised that I’m doing all I can with the time and energy I have. I hope that now you can understand why the development is taking so long. Now you know how much time I spend creating content for the game.

Have a nice upcoming weekend,
