I think even within the futa genre, there are a good number of people completely turned off by the "futas only think with their dicks" trope combined with the "mc is limp wristed bitchboi made for futa cocks" trope. Not that sissification and femdom isn't a popular enough subgenre.

Pretty much this, thing is that a lot of people seem to think if the futa is topping at all she must act like a cunt and treat the mc like shit. Which can be hot sure but gets very stale if that is every character.

This can be spread wider to "dom games" in general, the majority of them on the site treats the tag as if its a synonym to abuse,slavery,bodily harm or some dystopian setting where all men are treated as subhumans at best.

I agree this did have good renders (though the use of all the oversized oiled (wet / shinny) bodies for me was used too much). And I'm one of those men that's not interested in viewing any futa, femdom, or sissy MC content (just not into penis, or sub MC's). Eventually as the content direction evolved to areas that didn't interest me, I lost interest in continuing following this title.

So I find it a bit odd that the developer's next project will be moving again towards the same futa and simp MC content. As I believe this might have been one of the main reasons why his project's reception (the sub numbers) weren't doing as great as he hoped. Again, the developer definately has talent, it's the choice of kink content that didn't help keep his project a float with interest. Just my opinion.

I have to agree on this big time, i would love to see more futa games actual do characters arc than just always Futadom even with those that do have character in those kind of games tend to always go right to futadom.

Major Update: New Game Direction


Looking Back at The Last Star Walker
Two years ago, I created the first render for TLSW and started building this story. I'm really proud of what we've created together—a plot-driven game with intense action scenes, dark themes, and lore that goes deeper than most AVNs. The complex world-building and layered storytelling were ambitious, maybe too ambitious for the AVN genre.
Here's the reality: the feedback over these two years has shown me that this style of game struggles to find its audience in the AVN space. The Steam launch confirmed this—the numbers were disappointing. I want to be honest with you: I don't enjoy my day job, and I dream of doing this creative work full-time. But to make that happen, I need to find a path that's both creatively fulfilling AND financially sustainable.
I need to focus on something that has a real chance to grow.
Why I'm Making This Change
I've hit a wall creatively with the straight content. All the kinks have been explored and fresh ideas just aren’t coming anymore. I don’t want to put out low-effort content that I’m no longer excited about, and you all deserve better than that.
With futa content, I get a constant flow of new scenes, kinks, and character ideas. I love designing and working with beautiful characters and futa content lets me lean into that. Also, the feedback from you has consistently shown this is the content you enjoy most.
There are tons of creators doing straight content, and big studios do cinematic action far better than I ever can alone. Instead of trying to compete there, I want to focus on a niche where I can deliver something unique, something you can’t easily find elsewhere.
What This Means for The Last Star Walker

This isn’t because I’ve stopped caring. TLSW taught me more than any course, book, or tutorial ever could—about art, storytelling, and about all of you: what connects, what doesn’t, and what you actually show up for.
Your support made that project possible, and it deserves to be said clearly:

I get what you’re saying, but imo any sub character — male, female, futa — exists to be used by the dom. That’s intentional. Sex, to me, isn’t some wholesome personality showcase, it’s ugly, selfish, and exploitative by nature.

I’m an anti-natalist, so I fundamentally see sex as a gross evolutionary trap whose entire purpose is reproduction. That disgust is kind of the point. When people say “the futas think with their dicks” or “the MC gets treated like trash,” yeah — that’s because sex is trashy. I’m not trying to sanitize it into therapy with genitals.

That said, I’m not anti-romance. I like romance when it’s emotional, character-driven, and separate from sex. Once the clothes come off, the dynamic shifts. Sex scenes aren’t about mutual growth or respect — they’re about power, indulgence, and being used.

Not really surprised that this was abandoned because the last time I played it after the rework, the story was all over the place and didn't make any lick of sense whatsoever, and you only had the illusion of choice, meaning you either engage in futa content where you're the one taking the D, or you skip the scenes altogether thus you're basically playing a subpar game with a subpar experience because you didn't make the exact choices that the author wanted you to, even though there supposedly was a "choice" lmao. Also I'm pretty sure that at least 80 to 90% of the renders on the front page are from before the rework because when I played the game like 6 months or so ago, I didn't see any of those renders or characters. Also, from when I played it the synopsis of the game didn't corrolate in any way whatsoever to what the dialogues were about, it's like you downloaded an entirely different game, don't know if anything change in an update or two but that was the case prior.

In my opinion, the best thing about this game compared to others was the sex dialogue. From what I understand, the game developer has excellent communication skills, and this is reflected in the game. Based on my own gaming experience, I think game developers struggle to create quality sex scene dialogue. I believe 95% of game developers can't create good sex dialogue, and only 5% can produce quality dialogue. I think Veluxa is doing a quality job and is in that top 5%. However, people may have different content preferences.

The futa characters in the game were quite attractive, but I don't prefer the dominant futa and weak male main character content. While playing this game, I expected the weak main character to become stronger and subdue the futa characters. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.

I hope the game developer creates a harem-themed game in the future with a dominant male main character, attractive futa characters, and sexually explicit dialogue like in this game.

Looking at the messages from the game's creator above, I understand that the creator has a deeply troubling attitude towards sex in general, and honestly, the next project is doomed to fail for that reason as well. With such an approach, viewing sex as trash, an evolutionary trap, ugly, selfish, and exploitative by nature, it will be extremely difficult to stay motivated and overcome personal judgment and disdain.

Whereas your passions and interests lie greatly in the non-straight content, but your potential audience interests are overwhelmingly in the straight content, of which you've admitted you've lost passion for.
For your next game, map what it will be. Focus on flavors for groups that want those flavors.
Granted, you'll find a much greater audience in the straight 'market'.
Your renders are amazing. If you took the time to plot out a good story, or just make something dumb and fun but focused, you could really go places.
