Try applying this to game folder and let me know if its now working:
I'll download this just in case I encounter the same bug in the future as well...
EDIT: Better edit your first post since he confirmed it works!

Too late and as you have already surmised it has not worked
Thank you for your efforts though

I have now:
1 Changed my system locale
2 Redownloaded and installed RPGMAKER ACE again
3 Downloaded the game again
4 Decoded it with Japanese encoding specifically
5 Restarted my computer a few times
6 Run it as an Admin from Desktop

It has not worked
Am I missing anything?
Only thing I am thinking is that there might be some registry or some local files corrupting your game, it does not make sense that starts and closes right away. Try right clicking on Game.exe and going into properties to launch it in Combability mode?

Edit: Is there anti-virus or anything preventing from launching the game?

In compatibility mode it still crashes but it seems to be open for just a second or two longer.
That might just be wishful thinking though
Is there a way to prevent the game from going fullscreen before starting it?

It opens in Windowed for me! I press F5 for Widescreen after the game fully opens.

Ok lets go advanced now:

- Open "Run"
- Type "regedit"
- In the menu bar at the top, go to "Edit" and then "Find"
- Type "Enterbrain" and press OK
- Wait for search result to populate
- Right-click on "Enterbrain" folder and delete

Install

I have done this and now it crashes in window mode instead of fullscreen... marvelous

Did you try launching after deleting the folder from registry without installing RTP?
I did but I realized my stupidity before posting here and reinstalled RPGMAKER VX ACE Runtime Package and restarted my computer before trying
Did I miss anything in that process? (Maybe I am just stupid)

The game has RTP inside, hence it should work without you installing it as well, but seems you tried both ways. Still thinking how I can help.
