Well, you could ask for modder to help create a mod for that if you needed it that urgent. In my opinion, I go either way. However in some VN, it easier to leave their names by default in case there been some discussion or questions on certain characters. Changing the name may also make some confusing when someone discuss about them.

So, for my opinion, I leave it as it is by the developer for now. In worst case scenario, you could try to find the modder to help you with that case. It may be worth the wait since there at least 11 more chapters to go (Uncle Loco can correct me if I am incorrect how many chapters remaining)

There are 13 chapters in the story. All are fully written and endings are planned for each character as well.

You will see this in chapter 3 with how two characters will refer to the MC as Robbie. Then later you will see other characters refer to the MC as Robert. Dialogs are built around this as it gives these other characters more depth and personality.

As I have stated before I created this game for myself and decided to share it with others for free. There are no ways to donate or support me for this game because I wanted to have a lot more freedom to do things my way and try things the way I want to see them done. If a name is a deal breaker for you then I am sorry. I am sure someone at some point will create a mod to change the name, but I have no plans to do it for this game.

its your game you can do what you want but i have seen devs have defined names and nicknames as well that could even be specific to a charactor calling him something like you said. I usually dont mind the name stuff but i know a couple robs and dont really like playing a charactor with their name in a avn

There's the rub, is it not? No matter what name a Dev will choose there will always be people with that name we know or similar name. The only chance would be to give MC a name like "Nigoraburk" or some other made up bull. Which in this case would be strange at least.
AAAAAnd I would bet quite a hefty sum that at least one would pop up claiming they know a guy with the nickname Nigoraburk, so they "need" the name change option.

If it is necessary for the story to use a fixed name Dev only has the chance to stick to his guns, choose the name and weather the storm
In that respect Rob is a better choice than Nigoraburk. ( I claim the rights on that one, btw )

Sorry guys slacking on posting teaser images here, as I have been hard at work on chapter 3. All the animations are done for chapter 3, most of the new locations are done, the new characters are ready too, and all that remains are the renders for the final few scenes. I am expecting a mid-March release for chapter 3 if all continues to go well and there are no more issues. I did get a corrupted file on Alexis's apartment and that had to be recreated which caused a delay.

This week's teaser features two characters I have been excited to introduce, you may recognize them from the age check screens. My late friend TKA created the concept behind them and I am looking forward to your reactions to them both. It was a bit of mixed emotions for me when I was revisiting the dialog for their scenes as TKA helped me write a lot of the dialog for them.

LOL I know right what is taking me soooooo long.

All kidding aside thanks for playing the game and being excited about an update. I am currently on Page 26 of 36 for the script. I hope to finish a big portion of the renders this weekend. This is just a hobby for me so my real work can get in the way at times, but on the positive side the full script is written out and I just make some minor tweaks along the way. My goal from the first release was to get an update out every 1-2 months, and so far I have been on track to do that.

Had an old replacer-script lying around.

1) replace name with the name of your choice in line 7,33,34
2) drop the file in the game folder

it should work with any further versions.

This script replaces all instances of "rob" which means you end up with weird stuff like "No pRicklem." instead of "No problem."

The twins are already spoken for sorry. They will not be love interests in this VN. They are there to help the MC learn to fight as well as some other things later in the game.

Also, there is a harem tracker in the top corner of the game. As soon as you meet a named character that is a possible Love interest or optional sexual partner they will appear on the list. If they do not then they are not a harem option. The Harem tracker is being reworked for chapter 4 to include images of each girl as well as some other features.
