388 renders a quite low for something that took so long to update. That's like a standard monthly update for most games.
So you won't support but demand he uses his free time to develop more content? I wanna play that game too.Considering where this game is after 2 years and how many times it has been redone, telling me to sub to him for him to push out more content is not the smartest thing.

I demand you use your time to produce 1000 renders of content, with an amazing plot and characters once a month. Free of charge, of course. And all in one go, no corrections.
Tick, tock.. get to work, little fellow!
Hey, I like this game!
First, file size has nothing to do with the amount of content. Fata Morgana is 400MB and is longer than most novels here. Midlife Crisis was around 4GB and you could read everything in a few hours tops.Any first demo/intro should be at least 1GB, then 500MB per update... but how to punish them if we can't cut their funding?
Try these codes on dev consolei realy dont now what you are doing, i replay the games so many times, but i nerver can go intiminate with penelppe.

Second, different games have way different requirements. Not the same to produce on Daz than Honey Select. Even in the same system, one thing is a story with 5 characters and almost identical renders than totally different sceneries with a few dozen unique characters.
Third, different devs have different assets and constraints. It is not the same to ask White Phantom than to ask the team of Ecchi Sensei. Not just in computer/man power, but also individual circunstances.
You can punish developers by retiring your funding if they straight up lie. But if you just to go a pirate forum to free ride somebody's else work, the least you can do is have the decorum of not demanding more stuff. Otherwise, you better be opened to have some other entitled bitch do the same to you.
Oh sorry if it sounded that way! It was totally not my intention and I deeply apologize if it sounded hostile. Not sure if I'm reading this as hostile wrongly, agree with everything you said and was kind of trying to pile on about the 1000 renders... Good renders often are heavy wasn't talking about text... Beg your forgiveness Have a nice Evening
Haha don't worry about it, I've been playing a little bit too much RocketLeague lately and boy is that community toxic, I'm all kinds of paranoid. Kind of got annoyed by your answer straight away ^^ I need to stop playing that game and spend more time here to detox... Sorry aswell (Loved the Rebirth discussion, hit me harder than I'd like to admit seeing this side of you)Oh sorry if it sounded that way! It really was my bad, I first was trying to mention the distinction between size and content and later kept on venting my frustration on the previous post. It was not directed to you, I again apologize for that!
My bad, really, I tend to forget that while posting you need to be more clear, communication subtleties are harder to grasp, like sarcarsm, for example...Haha don't worry about it, I've been playing a little bit too much RocketLeague lately and boy is that community toxic, I'm all kinds of paranoid. Hahah really no worries, understood right away [edit: after the first reply to my passive agressive one]! I need to stop polluting every thread I write on with some weird debate so I'll so tell you right away not to answer : I do enjoy think about communication problems generally, they are regularly more obvious online but often just as hard to grasp IRL, especially when emotions are involved. And boy do I need to be less tilted by messages online! What a roller coaster of emotions Have a very nice evening xD Death to ungrateful leeches! (only the ungrateful ones otherwise I'm in big trouble)My bad, really, I tend to forget that while posting you need to be more clear, communication subtleties are harder to grasp, like sarcarsm, for example...
Just to make it explicit, I was not talking about you when I mentioned "entitled bitch", it was a continuation of my previous post. "I can also be an entitled bitch asking for free content as you do, but I will direct it to you", but you is not you here XD
I love how the dev is a guy who is a law student and works while doing this as a hobby for less than $300 a month gross and people getting his labor and capital for free are demanding that he churn massive monthly updates.First, file size has nothing to do with the amount of content. This is exactly what's wrong with many members of the Patreon community.Any first demo/intro should be at least 1GB, then 500MB per update... but how to punish them if we can't cut their funding?
here is my unofficial android port of Shadows Over Manston Retold v.2.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage, because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.
have fun and please report problems (you can reach meYou must be registered to see the links).

There is a reason why he is only getting 300 a month. This is his 3rd restart. He started in 2018 and more then two years later he is pretty much right where he started.I love how the dev is a guy who is a law student and works while doing this as a hobby for less than $300 a month gross and people getting his labor and capital for free are demanding that he churn massive monthly updates.
Go complain on Icstor's thread where you might have a point to make.
The point is he's a hobbyist. There is a reason why he is only getting 300 a month. This is his 3rd restart. He started in 2018 and more then two years later he is pretty much right where he started.
I played this version to see if there much new content and there isn't. So you can criticize the poster all you want but it's self-defeating because unlike ICSTOR who is still raking in thousands this dev isn't.
Wow okay Ayhsel I think I was the whole problem. This is exactly what's wrong with many members of the Patreon community.
You don't give them money and say, hey, doggie, jump! That's not how being a patron works.
Ideally, you give money, and TRUST the artist to do what they'd like based on what you've seen before. Now, at any point 2 things can happen. One, the patron decides to or can no longer afford to support the artist. Two, the artist changes direction in their art. One does not begat the other. Two should happen independently of One, and vica versa.
Giving money on Patreon should be akin to giving a present to a kid. Maybe it will get appreciated, maybe it will get broken on day one, maybe it will be their favorite toy. You give the gift KNOWING that it could be a waste, but you are going to give anyway.
On a more persoanal note... Punish them?? On behalf of all artists, everywhere:
Fuck you, buddy, get off any site where art is given away for free. You effing male version of a Karen.
