Nah, the title was good, imo. Not just as a title but also as an attention grabber. It also made it clear this wasn't a game written with one hand, so to speak.

This was one of the first TF games I tried and thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunate you never finished it.

For me: I agree that the name is pretty appropriate now, but I was initially a little wary about playing it on first discovery because I felt like the name implied a focus on M/M content and I was way less mature about that back then (I was a lot more of a fan of quick-and-complete TF's).

Back when this game was released, I think it was before TFGamesSite had their database setup. Everything was a series of forum posts and traffic was infrequent enough that one could keep up on new postings. I think nowadays the community has grown so much so that on F95 there are new games and updates and it is hard to keep it all straight beyond names and "box art."

I finished the game. It was fine. The sex scenes are well written. Some choices were just appearances. Even if you choose no, the result would be yes. But in the sex scenes, at least we could choose what we wanted (if you pick the right choices). There was one unavoidable scene, the male to male kiss scene. Other than that, no other bad scenes.

I don't really think it's NTR. You move to a new town, your mom and stepsister are both promiscuous, and you're slowly turning into a girl, though you can fight it. Your girlfriend from out of town usually breaks up with you, if you feminize, but either way, she's out of the picture. You get a couple bully type characters, but you don't really have that NTR level of attachment to anybody.

It has very high level of NTR as someone who has played all pathways there are two or three that involve heavy NTR themes
You can stay male for example but girlfriend will sleep with men while you watch. There are other NTR but that's just one example. There are entire NTR routes in this game.

Every choice changes your route and this game has a lot of routes before it got abandoned you'd be very surprised if you play it enough.

To play all routes it will take circa 10+ hours of playtime depending on how fast of a reader you are.

Every choice matters, there are like 50 different routes in this build of the game. If you experiment enough you'll find them all

If you take certain choices and have non-consensual feminisation enable, then you will literally be feminised against your will. As in dressed as a girl initially and then that forced feminisation will lead you into becoming a full-fledged female if you continue to make the wrong choices.

Oh, I see. M/M can be the focus if the player wants, of course. But the name (which is a riff on Betty Friedan's The Feminine Mystique) has a double meaning about the "masculine mystique" of the Rosestead men (particularly Mr. Anderson and Sean) and that, when the game begins, masculinity is a mystery to Parker. This is why the Process always begins a transformation of Parker (though if the player fights it hard enough, he can reverse it).

This is not the first time AIF has been dominated by incest. Also happened ca. 2002-2004 (which surprised me at the time). Before that, I had no idea incest fantasies were so common (at least among a select group of people, even if nowhere else).

My memory is that you could be a submissive gay man. My memory is shaky here. There is obvious sissy content, but I think you could have it be submissive moreso than sph or other comments about body types and gender norms.

Sorry to say that while that route was planned, it had not yet reached the point where there was much content for it. What content there is for it goes through Emily (Parker's girlfriend). Agree to let her hypnotize you so you can try to stay male. I think you have to refuse Sean's advances to reach that path, something I might have rethought had I continued the game.

You can blame Game of Thrones for that. If you look at the search data for incest porn on porn sites it went up dramatically after the HBO show started.

Is it hard to build a game in twine for someone with no experience because as good as this game is, I might want to continue making it just so I can continue the story.

The biggest issue is that this story is deceptively complex, it's like an ocean that you can't see the bottom of. The amount of different variables and paths are insane, and even if all you do is continue the existing paths without adding new ones we're probably looking at a minimum of a dozen different possible outcomes.

I kind of feel like at you would need a group of collaborators all working on it to make progress on finishing this game, not to mention a project manager keeping the big picture together.
