Oh shit! As a man with a wife and daughter that prologue fucking hit like a ton of bricks to the point i nearly just deleted it of my computer. I continued though and i have to say this is top tear AVN so far for me.

Up to..the first time sink...I almost stopped and not because of what happened. I may be far more pedantic and have higher standards than most here though. I have so many issues with the start with things that are wrong, make no sense, holes......it's not good and (imo) needs some serious reworking.

That said..after the first time skip..and especially after the second time skip...it does improve substantially to the point where I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. It is an excellent VN, well written (for the most part) and the LI's are also excellent. Render quality is great mostly throughout and I now see why people are rating it so highly.

I shall certainly look forward to more and to see how it develops.

Edit: Agree regarding Sarah...that damn makeup did her no favours at all. Hopefully she stays make up free again going forward.

I was beginning to believe I was the only one who cared about this...

Not only her makeup is ugly, but her skin turned of a violet/blue hue during the scenes. It seems MC was having sex with a smurf!

The flashbacks later helped smooth this over a bit, but it was still extremely jarring at the time, especially since Dev then immediately dropped us into the heavy emotional events leading to the actual gameplay... though, in some ways, it might have been necessary to skimp there as I'm not sure how many could have handled it (myself included) if this turned into another AL-style investment prior to the events with Ella/Maddie.

[Edit] - I too agree about Sarah, I didn't go so far as to reject her (figured that would kill her relationship) but that makeup was a serious negative. Plus her hair being way less red than I had thought it would be once it came out of the bun...

I interpreted the MC being such an pricky unlikeable asshat in the beginning yet entirely different the next time we saw him as a way to show how HEAVILY Ella influenced him positively which seems to be a ongoing thing in this avn as Ella apparently had a strong positive influence on quite a few people like Lisa or MC's mom too. Wouldnt be too surprised if it did lead to Ben changing too.

So MC suddenly being a cool guy is like a memorial to Ella too, she apparently manged to realize that this prick is salvagable and turned him upside down (he probably simply matured too). Its just another way of showing how special Ella was as a human and how much she still was able to accomplish despite her short time due to influencing others in a positive way.

A pretty damn great update. This game just keeps getting better. The best part of it is that you never really know what's gonna happen next. The dev is really great at writing in plot twists and shock moments without having them feel corny or played out.
I do agree with everyone else about Sarah's make up. It looks terrible

I like to pick up a game without reading its synopsis and the emotional whiplash hit real hard in this one. Very well written characters and I'm super interested in where the story goes with them but.... sigh Ella's cruel fate keeps looming in my mind

I think the prologue does a good job of showing that despite a douchey and superfluous lifestyle, MC shows compassion by comforting Ella when she's down, before she tells him about her past, he just needed someone to bring out the good in him.

You can of course tell Sarah it's not the right time, which in my mind is the most realistic outcome for that event. I just don't know if that means it's all off with her, she was pretty touchy over the phone incident. And yeah, it will be interesting when she finds out. But Sarah probably has seen more tragedy. Maddy wasn't her first, just the one straw that broke her with too much.

Well the built in walk-through pretty much says you close off the path if you chose the wrong option. Now does it close off all content with the LI or side characters? That I don't know yet. Seems I'll have to replay it and find out it seems.

To be honest, I don't play with walkthroughs, I just make decisions based on what's being said. If that IS the end of the path and no further interaction, that would be sad, as I can see how the MC might be interested but his head isn't in the right place. No one likes being rejected though, and we've already seen Sarah flies off the handle when she feels rejected, so it could be the missed opportunity. There was the promise of a big talk about the evening's events so there's always a chance Sarah lays her cards on the table if you hesitated. I guess we'll see.

No amount of makeup or bad hairdo will make me stop liking Sarah, she's the best. But of course, without makeup and with her hair in a casual bun, she's adorable.
And yet, I think I've seen this in some movie, I just can't remember which one, when a curly-haired girl does her hair, puts on makeup, and as a result, with this hairdo, she ends up looking like a wet otter. I mean, a lovely wet otter in Sarah's case. What the fuck, she told the MC she wasn't the type to get all dressed up. It's not her fault for not having the experience!
