As I said, I need to replay but could Medb have facilitated her to take it there? Don't remember the exact turn of events regarding the message.
Wouldn't surprise me if Elves could get in touch with her, and I bet Medb would have the resources to handle a fee. But yeah, my memory is a tad fuzzy too.
So foreplay then? (this IS an Adult game after all)
It definitely feels like she's the type of character where a little violence could get her going. :KEK:

In terms of people I'd trust as MC to receive that message (and excluding main LIs since those are path dependent), probably his sister. She's nearly as much a victim in all of this as the MC is (at least, as far as we know). She'd be able to inform MC's parents as well about it, which would effectively inform the Templars too.

However, I'm not sure how we'd be able to pass it to her without someone else acting as intermediary, since the elves would have to come to our world to deliver it directly. So it'd remain a tricky proposition.
Our lovely Bounty Hunter maybe? (I REALLY need to replay it....)
Yeah, maybe. But I think she bounces before we record the video, and that'd of course cost us more to deliver I'm sure.
Yeah you see this is the issue which causes some holes perhaps. If we put ourselves into this situation, phone does not work for calling/texting etc. OK, no reason not to believe Medb regarding that. So we record a message, she will send it out/pass it on/get someone to deliver/whatever it may be...ok, all good.

So yes, in this situation, depending on path, there's really on two people I would (and assume most of us would) have it delivered to. Jess or Kaija. There really isn't anyone else, even if a love path dependant route, Jes would still come first.

So surely, if either Jess or Kaija got the message, we're all fine, gone to Alfheim for peace talks...surely both of those would tell our dear old pops/the Templar council. So I cannot see it being the Templars who came looking for us (unless now that Linnae is off the council, the Stathanator has for more leverage with pops, and we all know he a little too quick to act and a little too slow in the thinking department).

So, was it Finn who was tasked with delivering the message (her 'mission')? Remember time works differently yes....had been what, five days IIRC (1 day to a week) we (would have been) MIA in 'our world' (as far as anyone was concerned) so I really can seeing the Stathanator being all frothy at the mouth. This all comes down to (again) the fact we never saw the message being recorded and we do not know if/when it was delivered and to whom. If it was delivered within the first week of us being there, then 'someone' would have got it the same or the very next day.

If it was Finn tasked with delivering the message, then we went missing for almost a week with the only communication we had being with Jess/LI's saying we are taking some time to think....

Correct. we are also never explcicitly shown it being done...or sent either. Just to confirm what we have seen as opposed to what we were told would happen.

You have a point Rehw...at this conjecture, anyone could have got it though. From the MC's perspective, who do you think 'we' would pick to receive the message? Would they then pass said message on?
The most logical thing in delivering the Message would be the Templar HQ in Neverwhere, and in 2 different maners,
1) send an oficial delegation there, (to have diplomatic imunity)
2) to hire someone to deliver it to the Templars who is "neutral" and or Human.
And yes if you send a meg* and it is not deliverd to the mobile phone bcs it is without net. it apears as not deliverd after 3days you get antsy more so if it is your Son or close Friend, the chances that Finn was the one who were assigned to deliver the msg. are high and that she run into the search faction, of the Knight Templars also, even when she explains that MC gave her the phone, the others would hardly belive that and given Finns character or just a wrong movement of someone else the squirmish is triggerd.
Edit: *msg. I was talking about a video not a prehistoric shark :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I'm sure that the Elves have the means to deliver a message to the Templars after 1,000 years of contact with each other.

I was talking about the Elves hypothetically contacting the Bounty Hunter to deliver the phone to your sister directly without involving the Templars as an intermediary.

The fun canon way would be if it was Finn(with the day off) delivering the message and when asked what are they/she doing with MC, she just goes:
and Kaija or someone else goes mental on her :ROFLMAO:
With the antagonistic tendencies of Finn she could just show this if Kaija was the recipient:

The first thing I said, the first time I played was “No! Don’t take it to the Templars, take it to Jessica. I don’t care if the Templars know where I am. The Templars all need a refreshing toaster bath.”

Yeah an elf appearing before a templars heavily protected VIP right after the other VIP went MIA, with Finn's diplomacy skills being as they are i dont think that would work out :D

Finn didn’t take the message- she was with MC every day but one and why would the Elves wait a week to deliver it? The could have just hired someone in Neverwhere and had them pass it to Jessica at University.
