In terms of people I'd trust as MC to receive that message (and excluding main LIs since those are path dependent), probably his sister. She's nearly as much a victim in all of this as the MC is (at least, as far as we know). She'd be able to inform MC's parents as well about it, which would effectively inform the Templars too.
However, I'm not sure how we'd be able to pass it to her without someone else acting as intermediary, since the elves would have to come to our world to deliver it directly. So it'd remain a tricky proposition.
Our lovely Bounty Hunter maybe? (I REALLY need to replay it....)
Yeah, maybe. But I think she bounces before we record the video, and that'd of course cost us more to deliver I'm sure.
Yeah you see this is the issue which causes some holes perhaps. If we put ourselves into this situation, phone does not work for calling/texting etc. OK, no reason not to believe Medb regarding that. So we record a message, she will send it out/pass it on/get someone to deliver/whatever it may be...ok, all good.
So yes, in this situation, depending on path, there's really on two people I would (and assume most of us would) have it delivered to. Jess or Kaija. There really isn't anyone else, even if a love path dependant route, Jes would still come first.
So surely, if either Jess or Kaija got the message, we're all fine, gone to Alfheim for peace talks...surely both of those would tell our dear old pops/the Templar council. So I cannot see it being the Templars who came looking for us (unless now that Linnae is off the council, the Stathanator has for more leverage with pops, and we all know he a little too quick to act and a little too slow in the thinking department).
So, was it Finn who was tasked with delivering the message (her 'mission')? Remember time works differently yes....had been what,
five days IIRC (1 day to a week) we (would have been) MIA in 'our world' (as far as anyone was concerned) so I really can seeing the Stathanator being all frothy at the mouth. This all comes down to (again) the fact we never saw the message being recorded and we do not know if/when it was delivered and to whom. If it was delivered within the first week of us being there, then 'someone' would have got it the same or the very next day.
If it was Finn tasked with delivering the message, then we went
missing for almost a week with the only communication we had being with Jess/LI's saying we are taking some time to think....
