Don't know what the dev is trying to pull with the story anymore.

It is just hinted but MC has great potential and now after the elf training he will be crazy good. Several characters (Linnae, Kaija, Oberon, Finnabair) praise his potential. In chap 1, the mercenary boss call him very dangerous. Sending him to the elves was also a good way to buff him up quickly.

So far MC has :

- great battle IQ (subtly trained by his father since he was a kid)
- 6th sense/spider sense
- Mental strength (able to resist a succubus and to tolerate Mab's glance)
- Magical sword with healing abilities

Before even going to the elves, he is able to kill several Hellspawn with Nightingale without too much trouble (they are folders but they still killed a few Elves the first time). Now after the traing he is buffed up. I'm sure Templars will throw everything at MC to have him by their side

when are we going to find out what the other sword is? it seemed to be a bronze sword and although they said talk to the Norse I think it could be from the Greek, Egyptian, or Babylonian which are all bronze age civilizations, maybe the sword of Troy or something.
Definitely celtic. At first I thought Sword of the Siegfried or something from Nibelung which happened at the migration period, but as it seems to be made of totally bronze, it is over thousand years older. Then I checked some legendary celtic swords and got some names from the legends of Tuatha de Danann and such. Of those my guess would be:

Díoltach (Retaliator), one of the three main swords of the sea-god Manannán mac Lir. The sword that “never failed to slay”

I would be poetic that our hero wielded sword of peace on the other hand and sword of the retaliation on the other hand.

Btw. The name of Durendal bothered me as I had always thought it to be Durandal, but apparently they're both valid spellings.

ps. Which one of you did it? " A replica sword that was embedded in a rock face there was reported stolen in June 2024."

Thanks for the info. I love hearing this stuff.(y)

I'd start by checking the dude in the black helmet. He's often pulling strings behind the scenes! ;)

I read the comments here before playing the update and thought someone more significant was offed. I mean, she was nice for a ride (not a fan of the hateful cold hearted bitch melts over time trope), but that's it.

I just started playing this for the first time but wow.. is it ever dark in the bar scenes where he first meets Kate the bar owner's niece. I can't even see her face in some of the renders. I guess thats so you don't know who your taking home at closing time.

After 4 or 5 failures I played dirty and used a mod to see the variables and found out I had to flirt with the valkyrie and call Medb a bitch
Ok I must be missing something. I played through with the mod and went through at a normal pass just kind of getting points here and there for people kind of focusing on fiona more than anyone but then I wanted to do focus runs on each person so I kept speeding through, but I don't see where you can call medb a bitch how far into does this happen and do you have to do something else before in order for it to happen. I want to get the Kari ending and apparently I have to do that in order to get hers.

Any info I would appreciate please and thank you. Also there is a character I think I seen her twice you can "check her out" but I don't think it gives a name or dialog with her. One of the times you run into her is talking to the sister at the college think the other time is in the park on the run. Is there a way to get more interactions with her or is she likely a later add in?

As for your second question...yeeesss....wonder why she does keep appearing.....not like Jessica would have her own bodyguard she didn't know about.....

Right?

Maybe?

Just an Idea came to my mind, I could be possible that that was the lady of the lake in human form ?
Most probably is that Ceolag just put her in to see how we overheat our head trying to figure out who the heck she is :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I fully support this theory if it allows Nimue to become a love interest. She's drop dead gorgeous, to me anyway.
Oooof....all for that fella's...indeed she is a stunner.

Just finished chapter 4 of WT (damn there's some variables and if/else callbacks in this)....so off to bed.

See you tomorrow.
