Yeah, that patch do help heaps. Wish it was out when I was finishing it. But I think that patch won't help with her hidden route though.

I am not sure if that works or not as I didn't use any other save file. You could try to do something normal and then let the file save and then try it again?

Which ending? The one with the nightmaretaker should get you the tear or Spindle, I can't remember. The true ending will get you an epilogue.
