Here are the release notes for The Northwood Lair ver. 1.21:

- Added 9 new H animations

- Added 3 new H scenes

- Added new character, Anon

- Added Anon to H scenes featuring Kanon in Tentacle Pool in Arcanium

- Added multiple H animation stages for Anon in Tentacle Pool H scene

- Added Luka + Henchman x Miku 3P H scene: Queening + Missionary to Luka's Bondage Lounge

- Added multiple H animation stages for Queening + Missionary H scene

- Added new Human Henchman category: 3P, to Solo Girls (Gumi) in Prison Cell

- Added new 3P H scene to Gumi in Prison Cell

- Fixed an issue where Tianyi's 3P Prison Cell H scene would jitter uncontrollably

- Removed Tianyi's blindfold in Orgy H scene due to popular demand

So, is RPG mode just meant to troll us? You walk up to a gate, turn around, get caught by some monster. Is that really all...?

EDIT: And there's no Story Mode. So is this just a Gallery that's more difficult to navigate than it needs to be?

Kind of but the choice doesn't affect anything so far. There are various Lair option, if you go to your room then you'll have the girls by yourself. But if you go to Prison, luka's bondage room, or going outside then you're sharing the girls with others and having gangbang sex. It's basically owning a slave
